- Speech Therapy (Informal / Functional Integration)
- Conduct informal speech and language screenings.

- Help children develop fine motor skills (e.g., pre-writing, grasping, hand-eye coordination).
- Implement strategies for sensory processing challenges using a sensory-friendly classroom setup.
- Support children with self-care tasks (e.g., feeding, dressing, toileting).
- Behavior and Social-Emotional Support
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support children with behavioral challenges or emotional regulation difficulties.
- Teach and model social interaction, peer engagement, and play skills.
- Apply proactive behavior management techniques (e.g., visual schedules, positive reinforcement).
- Family Engagement & Team Collaboration
- Partner with parents/caregivers to support carryover of strategies at home.
- Conduct parent training and regular progress updates.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLPs, OTs, psychologists, special educators) to ensure a cohesive approach.
- Bachelorâs Degree in Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with developmental delays or neurodiverse needs (autism, ADHD, speech delays).
- Knowledge of early intervention practices and developmental milestones.
- Strong understanding of child development and early intervention techniques.
- Empathy, patience, and excellent observation skills.
- Ability to create engaging, therapeutic, and structured activities.
- Effective communication with children, families, and professionals.

- Possess a strong publication record with at least 2-4 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years
- Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM20,000-RM30,000 (cumulative)
- Experience working in higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and a high quality of presentation skills
- Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning
- Experience working on research projects and activities or experience of professional practice/consultancy work, including evidence of appropriate outputs

Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will play a vital role in the Talent Acquisition function, partnering with the business and HR leaders to provide technical expertise and solutions to current and future challenges, including Employer Branding. You will drive energizing initiatives across Malaysia & Indonesia, attracting the best candidates in line with Global and business strategies.

This role contributes across all Business Areas in the region and is based out in Malaysia. Main stakeholders are Talent Acquisition Community, Business Leaders, HRBP’s and Employees.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Deploying the Employer Value Proposition and key topics primarily for Early Talents in Malaysia and Indonesia - in line with the global guidelines and customize them to the local market across all existing activities, communication materials/channels.
- Engaging in branding initiatives and ensuring materials and digital platforms are on brand and regular social media campaigns and posts are performed to attract suitable candidates for the business in Malaysia and Indonesia.
- Building solid networks with Universities, Students’ associations and subject specific networks in in Malaysia and Indonesia(i.e. engineering associations, female students’ networks, etc.) identifying their success factors and positioning ABB as the employer of choice for the annual campus hiring drive.
- Marketing, coordinating and contributing to manage the existing ABB Discovery rotational program which includes continuous contacts with the business stakeholders, the other GBS HR colleagues and the participants and contributing to the review of the process to make it more efficient. Keeping KPI and data tracking.
- Setting up, promoting and contributing to finalize other initiatives and programs that support the pipeline of early talents and professionals for ABB in Malaysia and Indonesia and managing the given budget and building cases to get business support where necessary.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business/HR/Communications related fields and experience in Employer Branding and University Relations in an international corporation.
- 5+ years of experience with branding and communications, ideally developing marketing and social media campaigns and plans.
- Good knowledge of the campus recruitment environment with end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing projects.
- Ability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders.
- Very good communication skills in English is a must with strong customer service orientation.
- Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.

The RoleAs an Early Years Development Coach, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of apprentices to deliver a quality learning experience for their L2 Early Years Practitioner and L3 Early Years and the Level 5 Apprenticeship Standard within their place of work, whilst providing exceptional support to both learners and employers. This may include learners on a Diploma only basis. This is a hybrid role: there is an expectation to visit learners occasionally for progress reviews and additional tutoring within and around your given area.
The role will involve:
- Leading a caseload of learners, supporting them to achieve their apprenticeship or qualification covering all areas of knowledge, skills, and behaviours as well as any additional requirements
- Regularly assessing work and providing constructive feedback including SPAG and update the E-Portfolio system (APTEM)
- Providing support to those learners who require Functional Skills maths and/or English at Level 1 or 2
- Providing careers information, advice, and guidance throughout the learners’ journey, allowing learners to understand progression routes available to them
