The opportunity
EY Assurance practice requires a professional who will take responsibility for driving and supporting our Operational Excellence agenda and work to implement various Operations and Finance-related initiatives for Malaysia’s Assurance business, where you will work with Malaysia Assurance Leader and interact across all Assurance Sub-Service Lines Leaders/Group Heads. You will have the opportunity to build relationships, drive initiatives and shape solutions across our local Assurance practice, understand the market and issues, and collaborate with other teams not only within Assurance but beyond.
The position will report directly to Malaysia Assurance Leader and the role would require for the incumbent to have close engagement and collaboration with Service Line support such as Finance, Market Operations, Talent, Resourcing and Quality and Risk Management Teams.
Your key responsibilities
In the role, you will be expected to:
- Review and monitor key financial & performance measures, KPIs (TNR, Margin, Utilisation, Revenue days)
- Provide robust regular performance and dashboard reporting with insightful, timely, forward looking and action oriented commentaries
- Together with Malaysia Assurance Leader, drive the yearly planning process and half-year forecast exercise
- Drive and monitor compliance around key quality areas to meet internal business requirements e.g. milestones review
- Local project lead for Global and Area centralisation initiatives
- Develop and execute other strategic and operational initiatives to drive end to end business performance improvements
- Analyze, articulate and monitor operational performance issues. Investigate anomalies and coordinate with leaders for the information required, escalate issues, assist in providing insight and solutions
- Provide communications support for Malaysia Assurance Leader in drafting key messages for Townhalls, prepare management materials, analysis and narratives for Executive or Regional Leadership meetings and liase with communications functions in EY.

To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of working experience, preferably in Professional Services industry
- Experience in an operations related, business management or control function preferred

- Attention to detail and ability to analyze problems, design and implement solutions independently
- A Self-starter. Able to work with limited supervision, to juggle conflicting demands and to prioritize work effectively
- A committed team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, able to articulate clear and logical messages
- Strong organizational skills, able to work across and project manage multiple-initiatives at a time
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and liaise with colleagues in both business and technical roles
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills – e.g. Pivot, vlook ups and ability to manipulate and draw trends from vast amounts of data
- Data analytics skills such as PowerBI will be preferred

Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing new product feasibility, financial returns, and investment risks.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new product launches, evaluating market demand, competitive landscape, and profitability
- Develop financial models to assess investment costs, expected revenue, and return on investment (ROI)
- Analyze sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and cost structures to determine the commercial viability of new initiatives
- Provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director based on data-driven insights and business objectives
- Act as a strategic partner to the MD, offering expert advice on business expansion, capital allocation, and risk mitigation

- Evaluate potential business partnerships, acquisitions, or investments that align with the company's growth strategy

Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, financial planning, or strategic investment roles
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and data interpretation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
- Able to speak and write English and Mandarin (Due to business nature)

- 2- 3 years of working experience in e-commerce marketing/ digital performance marketing on marketplace platform, e-commerce enablement agency, or online business team at client side.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across platforms like Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, and TikTok Shop.
- Strong understanding of marketplace mechanics, especially around traffic acquisition, conversion, and media buying.
- Skilled in campaign analysis and reporting, with the ability to draw insights and recommend optimizations using tools like Excel and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities
As the E-commerce Marketing, Strategy & Planning Senior Associate at ADA , you will be in charge of planning, executing campaigns, monitor, and optimize performance for e-commerce marketing activities, including but not limited to paid ads, display ads, and affiliate marketing . This is an exciting role, enable you with full skillset of overseeing campaign strategy, implementation, trafficking, and analysis with widen of campaign types in across marketplace platforms (Lazada/Shopee/Tiki / TikTok ).
You will wo r k closely with Commercial Manager/ Commercial Associate on assigned accounts to deliver high performance e-commerce marketing activities across the marketplace platforms . You will be proficient in managing client campaigns including strategy development and planning, campaign execution and analysis, providing regular insights and recommendations. You will lead the entire campaign planning – proposal – execution – evaluation and optimization cycle for the next campaign. You will participate in relevant internal and external training programs for personal and professional development . You will work with enthusiastic regional and local ADA leaders and colleagues, and have ability to access to ADA's professional systems and tools that effectively support your daily work.
What skills and experience you will need?
2- 3 years of working experience in e-commerce marketing/ digital performance marketing on marketplace platform, e-commerce enablement agency, or online business team at client side. Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across platforms like Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, and TikTok Shop. Strong understanding of marketplace mechanics, especially around traffic acquisition, conversion, and media buying. Skilled in campaign analysis and reporting, with the ability to draw insights and recommend optimizations using tools like Excel and Power BI. Effective communicator with the ability to clearly present strategies, performance updates, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. Experience collaborating with internal teams (Commercial, Creative, Operations) and external platform representatives. Highly accountable with a proactive mindset, capable of managing campaigns end-to-end. Proficient in budget management and performance tracking. Fluent in writing and speaking skills in English .
