• Possessed valid Remote Pilot Certificate of Competency - Basic (RCOC-B), RCOC Module 2 (AGR) and any other certifications approved by Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) by CAAM.

About the Role

The UAS Maintenance Technician is responsible for building and repairing drones, troubleshooting client issues both remotely and on-site, and conducting product demos and training workshops. You’ll also assemble DIY drones using the Ardupilot platform and become an expert in agriculture drones and their applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and repair drones and related hardware
2. Communicate with clients to troubleshoot problems both remotely and on-site
3. Run product demo and training workshops
4. Assemble and set up DIY drones based on the Ardupilot platform
5. Become an expert in agriculture drones, hardware, farming applications, and how to promote it to customers

About You

1. Technical certification in electronic/mechanical/aviation-related field or engineering degree
2. Experience with electronics repair work, electronics troubleshooting processes, and basic tools
3. Experience dealing with agriculture-related businesses
4. Willingness to travel regionally for various projects
5. Self-motivated, capable of planning and driving work independently as part of a small team
6. Possess a positive working attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt

The Maintenance Executive is responsible for coordinating and supervising repair and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and quality of all equipment and training functions. This role requires technical troubleshooting, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance processes and enhance product reliability.

• Coordinate and supervise all repair and maintenance works on all equipment and training functions to boost overall performance, efficiency, and quality.
• Assess and evaluate the performance of the UAS in operation (internal and external) using engineering, maintenance, and aviation tools.
• Adopt all maintenance processes to achieve continuous improvement in maintenance flow, management, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve, improvise, and improve processes or products.
• Report and communicate with suppliers on product reliability and warranty processes.
• Maintain consistent engagement with authorities for the latest adoption of safety procedures.
• Maintain and improve all work records for data acquisition and safekeeping.
• Lead the assessment of reporting subordinates and develop plans to improve the team.
• Support any possible integration growth.
• Regularly observe and assess customer needs, recommending additional products and services.
• Commit and discharge duties in compliance with ISO 9001 and CAD6011 (II) requirements/standards.

• Optimize Maintenance Processes – Continuously improve maintenance workflows and outcomes through process adoption and enhancement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with various departments and suppliers to improve products, processes, and manage warranty and reliability issues.
• Compliance & Documentation – Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and CAD6011 (II) standards, maintain accurate records, and stay updated with safety regulations.
• Team Leadership & Customer Support – Lead and assess team performance, support integration growth, and identify customer needs with relevant product/service recommendations.
  
  

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Communication skills to work closely with cross departments.
