The Drilling Supervisor position will work as a member of the Wells team and is responsible for the execution of the WL4-00 and SK304 drilling programs (3 wells/90 days). These programs include the preparation, execution, abandonment, and after-action reviews of the wells. Spud of the first well is planned for the first Quarter 2022. The Drilling Supervisor will: Begin rotational work approximately 2 weeks prior to spud date to prepare for drilling of the well and will be working on a 28/28 day rotational basis. Be onboard the rig prior to rig move, providing direct offshore-based supervision of the day-to-day operations and supervising contractor personnel when carrying out drilling, completion, well testing, and abandonment operations. Coordinating all aspects of Well Operations activities to ensure that wells are drilled in a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible manner, adhering to all company core values, corporate fiduciary requisites, and policies, and country legislation. Report to the Drilling Superintendent onshore. Primary Function / Responsibilities: Responsible for safety and environmental awareness with all offshore company/contract staff such that operations are carried out in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Conduct safety and environmental audits on the rig. Be a visible and proactive safety leader to all offshore personnel. Lead offshore Drilling Team during the well execution phases. Provide supervision and direction to the drill crew and rig service personnel to ensure that rig operations are conducted in accordance with applicable programs/procedures and that safe work practices are always followed. Produce and distribute Daily Orders to ensure detailed instructions are issued to the team offshore. Ensure work plans are communicated and understood by all involved personnel. Maintain and distribute a 12-day lookahead to ensure personnel, logistics, vessels, and helicopters are managed in a timely and efficient manner. Exercise leadership and judgment in dealing with emergencies; act as an expert resource in well control situations. Ensure that equipment and procedures are in place to deal with emergencies and unexpected deviations from the well plan. Ensure optimal deployment of wellsite resources and logistical support by planning ahead for likely operations and contingencies. Ensure good communication between office, logistics base, and rig. Coordinate, supervise, and critique service company activities. Continuously identify ways to reduce costs and improve work program effectiveness without sacrificing safety, quality, production rates, or reserves. Provide technical recommendations, support, and advice to the following: Drilling Superintendent, Drilling Engineers, G&G, Drilling contractor management personnel, service company personnel, and Completion Engineer(s) and Test Engineer(s) where applicable. Mentor and develop rig site drilling/completion/production engineers where applicable. Ensure that all safety, regulatory, and environmental guidelines are followed. MAIN FUNCTIONS

Provide the engineering planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up required for the safe and efficient drilling and completing of drilling programs.

Ensure well objectives are met while assuring the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection are applied.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide engineering support for Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWU) start-up, mobilization/demobilization and operations including budget preparation/stewardship and contract administration.
2. Maintain daily surveillance of HWU mobilization/demobilization, workover, completions and P&A operations including stewardship of well costs.
3. Provide well-site HWU operations surveillance and engineering support as necessary.
4. Assist Operations Superintendent on critical activities and problems, such as equipment failures, well problems and well control.
5. Work with Reservoir Engineer and Geologist to support preparation and deliverables of workover, completions and P&A plans.
6. Responsible for government regulatory requirements, approvals and permits.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Engineering degree with 10 years in the Oil & Gas industry and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with HWU operations.
2. Experience working with an operator in Malaysia including liaising with PETRONAS MPM as a Wells engineer is preferred.
3. Willing and able to travel to offshore locations to provide wellsite support.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written communication skills in English.
5. Demonstrate strong technical competencies and be expected to set and meet high standards.
