KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in systems design development throughout entire product lifecycle, from pre-silicon and emulation through post-silicon and software integration.
- Support technical presentations demonstrating a good understanding of hardware architecture and expertise in systems design.
- Collaborate with Design, Software, Tools and other teams to drive the definition of testing and debug methodologies to provide the best possible coverage and customer experience for the IP.
- Isolation and debug of issues found during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases of S3 products.
- Able to proactively support team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, excellence, and collaboration.
- Executing validation strategies, enablement of features and unit test plans
- Publishing and aligning test plan requirements and dependencies
- Working closely with supporting teams such as design, diagnostics, driver, and project leadership.
- Support cross-functional technical discussions to drive root cause identification and resolution on technical issues.
- Participating in technical innovations to enhance validation capabilities including tool and script developments, technical and methodology enhancements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- In-depth knowledge of SOC architecture and concepts.
- Experience with IP/System level bring-up.
- Experience in Video Codec including encoding and decoding.
- Knowledge of Virtualization.
- Experience with FPGA and other hardware emulation platforms for pre-silicon debug.
- Strong understanding of BIOS, OS, and driver-level interactions and common failure points.
- Good understanding of Boot Flows/Sequences.
- Experience with common lab equipment, computer hardware, and networks.
- Led process improvement initiatives to improve engineering quality.
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of standard power management features and use-cases.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in pre and post-silicon validation.
- Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
- Experience with IP/System level bring-up, SOC debug techniques and methodologies.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to details.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, strong collaborator, and able to independently drive tasks to completion.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple issues at the same time.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field strongly preferred.

**Summary**
Systems & Applications Design is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that works with cross functional teams of other engineers, customers, supply chain and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development.
The Lead Engineer, Systems/Applications designs, integrates, and manages complex systems over their life cycles. They are engineering leads engaged in issues such as requirements engineering, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, testing and evaluation, maintainability and many other disciplines necessary for successful system design, development, implementation, and ultimate decommission. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations. (LI-CT1)
**Detailed Description**
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Design, develop and implement technical solutions in two or more technical areas. Lead smaller projects and may coordinate with other engineers including reviews of their work.
+ Review and interpret customer documentation, conduct appropriate research, analysis and experiments with minimal direction from senior staff.
+ Create technical proposals (solution and timelines) based on requirements.
+ Research systems ideas and draw up plans for these systems
+ Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. E.g. Architecture of solution: Divide up tasks for various engineering teams to execute taking into consideration requirements engineering, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, testing and evaluation, maintainability and many other disciplines necessary for successful system design and field support.
+ Test, simulate and measure (including troubleshooting) the performance of systems
+ Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
+ Solve complex problems
+ Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
+ Analyze and interpret data and information
+ Recommend system modifications
+ Create reports and documentation

The Software Engineer will work as a part of the application services team and closely with Keypath’s product management and enterprise architecture teams to support and implement high-quality application and software solutions.
This role is key in driving efficiencies for Keypath’s operational teams and optimizing the student experience.
The software engineer will provide development, integration, and maintenance of software applications in a Microsoft-centric environment.
This role is pivotal in supporting and customizing core systems, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality custom software solutions that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Complete development tasks related to assigned projects involving the customization, integration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other core systems.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software, customizations, and integrations.
- Provide hands on development and technical expertise across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements hand-off to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with Keypath’s product management team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work closely with Keypath’s enterprise architecture team to ensure adherence to architectural standards and security best practices.
- Develop solutions using modern Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies, including Azure Functions, SQL Databases, Queues, and Log Analytics
- Implement standard security structures and engineering best practices in Azure, including use of Key Vaults, Managed Identity, secure network endpoints, and role-based access controls.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper technical and privacy/security governance requirements are met.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, computer engineering, IT, a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 4+ years of software development experience with a proven history of launching successful custom development solutions.
- Strong background in architecture, design, and hands-on coding and configuration using Microsoft technologies, including Azure, SQL, .NET framework and C#.
- Experience developing solutions using third-party Software Development Kits and cloud-based APIs.
- Experience developing solutions and integrating with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred.
- Experience in the higher education and post-secondary education sector preferred.
- Solid understanding of the SDLC using Agile Methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft-centric development and skilled working with Microsoft SDLC management tools and technologies including Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git
- Knowledge of design patterns and development experience with .NET framework, Microsoft Azure, and related tools
- Skilled in hands-on coding and configuration using Microsoft technologies, including Azure, SQL, .NET framework and C#.
- Solid database development experience with SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
- Must exhibit fluency in software development concepts including Software Design Patterns, Caching, Concurrency, Security, and Relational Databases.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to maintaining high security and architectural standards.
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of learning new technologies quickly.

Job DescriptionThe Software Engineer will work as a part of the application services team and closely with Keypath’s product management and enterprise architecture teams to support and implement high-quality application and software solutions.
This role is key in driving efficiencies for Keypath’s operational teams and optimizing the student experience.
The software engineer will provide development, integration, and maintenance of software applications in a Microsoft-centric environment.
This role is pivotal in supporting and customizing core systems, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality custom software solutions that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Complete development tasks related to assigned projects involving the customization, integration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other core systems.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software, customizations, and integrations.
- Provide hands on development and technical expertise across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements hand-off to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with Keypath’s product management team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work closely with Keypath’s enterprise architecture team to ensure adherence to architectural standards and security best practices.
- Develop solutions using modern Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies, including Azure Functions, SQL Databases, Queues, and Log Analytics
- Implement standard security structures and engineering best practices in Azure, including use of Key Vaults, Managed Identity, secure network endpoints, and role-based access controls.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper technical and privacy/security governance requirements are met.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, computer engineering, IT, a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 4+ years of software development experience with a proven history of launching successful custom development solutions.
- Strong background in architecture, design, and hands-on coding and configuration using Microsoft technologies, including Azure, SQL, .NET framework and C#.
- Experience developing solutions using third-party Software Development Kits and cloud-based APIs.
- Experience developing solutions and integrating with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred.
- Experience in the higher education and post-secondary education sector preferred.
- Solid understanding of the SDLC using Agile Methodologies
- Proficient in Microsoft-centric development and skilled working with Microsoft SDLC management tools and technologies including Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git
- Knowledge of design patterns and development experience with .NET framework, Microsoft Azure, and related tools
- Skilled in hands-on coding and configuration using Microsoft technologies, including Azure, SQL, .NET framework and C#.
- Solid database development experience with SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
- Must exhibit fluency in software development concepts including Software Design Patterns, Caching, Concurrency, Security, and Relational Databases.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to maintaining high security and architectural standards.
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities, capable of learning new technologies quickly.
- Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Architecture, Dynamics CRM API, and Entity Model preferred.
