The Day-To-Day Activities
- Product Leadership & Lifecycle Management
- Serve as the product owner for DCB, managing the full partner lifecycle: onboarding, launch, in-life service monitoring, and termination.
- Lead partner operations including service integration, validation, contract negotiation, performance reporting, and settlement oversight.
- Act as the central liaison between content providers, internal stakeholders (Technology, Finance, Legal, Customer Service), and external vendors.
- Growth Acceleration & Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
- Spearhead revenue growth through innovative monetization strategies, including new verticals, exclusive content deals, and bundling initiatives.
- Work with other product owners within the organisation to conceptualize and execute impactful customer acquisition and engagement campaigns that drive DCB adoption.
- Continuously monitor partner performance KPIs and revenue metrics to optimize profitability and uncover new commercial opportunities.
- Operational Excellence & System Innovation
- Champion improvements on the backend systems to enhance partner onboarding, transaction flow, and issue resolution.
- Lead UAT, regression testing, and system enhancement planning with internal IT teams and platform vendors.
- Identify bottlenecks in operational workflows and deploy solutions that reduce manual work and improve turnaround times.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, digital services, or platform operations, preferably in telco, fintech, or e-commerce space.
- Knowledge of MCMC regulations and governance affecting digital services, payment aggregators, and telco platforms in Malaysia is an advantage
- Proven experience managing VAS / OTT / fintech platforms or subscription-based services.
- Strong data fluency—comfortable interpreting dashboards and applying insights to decisions.
- End-to-end product ownership: from ideation and launch to continuous improvement.
- Strong grasp of partner ecosystems, digital service monetization, and customer journey design.
- Deep understanding of settlement, reconciliation, and revenue assurance processes.
- Experience in contract management and negotiation, ensuring alignment of commercial, legal, and operational interests with partners.

The Manager, Digital Consulting, MDS Malaysia is directly responsible for the daily management of digital activation efforts for hotels participating in Marriott Digital Services (MDS) programs within the Asia Pacific Excluding China (APEC) region. These programs focus on providing comprehensive digital activation services including, but not limited to, search engine optimization (SEO), HWS Content Management, Paid Media Management and Program Performance and Reporting. The Manager, Digital Consulting, MDS Indonesia acts as the main point of contact for the hotels and serves as the liaison between internal teams, ensuring all deliverables are met and tactics are executed on time. This position is responsible for setting program strategy, defining expectations, providing performance reports, supporting role to related Marketing activations or programs and ensuring the highest level of service is provided. This position reports to the Director, Digital Consulting, MDS Indonesia, Malaysia.
The MDS team provides digital solutions for all Marriott brand hotels globally. This centralized in-house team offers individual hotels a range of digital services and functions as an agency-like model within the Global Digital organization.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
**Education, Experience and Capabilities**
+ BS/BA degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related major is preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience in digital marketing is required, and experience in hotel or online travel agency is a plus.
+ Agency work experience is preferred; primarily in a property services/account services role.
+ Fluency in English language is required for internal/external communications.
**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
**Managing Work, Projects, and Policies**
+ Ensure programs provide a cohesive digital strategy through the use of search, paid media, and reporting tactic execution.
+ Manage and track all program tactics to ensure deliverables are met and executed on time.
+ Track time against billing and non-billable activities to ensure cost recoverability.
+ Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing properties through open communication.
+ Schedule and lead property discovery and reporting calls throughout the program enrollment period.
+ Manage and implement strategic keyword strategies through optimization of on-site and off-site tactics.
+ Address ad-hoc property questions and concerns in an effective and timely manner, escalating issues to the Director when necessary.
