**Job Description**
The Global Business Services (GBS) Digital Developer will support new GenAI, Data Science, and other Azure projects with software engineering skills. The developer will be responsible for .NET development and will work closely with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of digital solutions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about staying current with the latest technological developments and eager to tackle new challenges. A strong understanding of data modelling and visualization is recommended for this role, given the team's data-centric scope.
**Relationships**
+ Direct reporting to GBS Digital Delivery Team Lead
+ Collaborates with Data Scientists, Product Owners, Infrastructure and Digital Operations teams, other developers in GBS Digital and SLB IT
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Develop, test, and maintain digital solutions using .NET and Microsoft Azure technologies
+ Collaborate closely with Product Owners to understand project vision, goals, and value to be delivered
+ Participate in the collection and documentation of user requirements
+ Conduct code reviews and ongoing testing to ensure software security and stability
+ Configure and maintain build and deployment automation processes
+ Ensure high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
+ Keep skills current and aligned with relevant technologies and industry standards
+ Understand and implement data modeling and visualization concepts as required

**Qualifications and Experience:**
+ **Experience** : 4-5+ years of experience as a digital solution developer, with a strong background in .NET development
+ **Education** : Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field
+ **Certifications** : Microsoft Azure related certifications will be a bonus
+ **Technical Skills** :
+ Proficiency in web technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, or similar frameworks and libraries
+ In-depth knowledge and experience with core Microsoft .NET technologies
+ Solid understanding of object-oriented development practices
