Job Requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • Required: Native or near-native command of English and one or both of these languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
  • Preferred: 1 year of working experience in a related field.

    Your day at NTT DATA

    What you'll be doing

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Content Management System (e.g., Sitecore, Embraco).
    • Act as a bridge between local clients and technical team in China, translating business requirements into detailed action plans for developers.
    • Conduct first level of content-related issues troubleshooting and coordinate fixes with technical team in China.
    • Oversee the quality of work and perform checks before delivering to clients.
    • Maintain good working relationships with clients and vendors.
    • Manage client delivery expectations.
    • Ensure timely publishing of updates, campaigns, and news on web platforms.
    • Prepare project progress reports and update both clients and internal management on project status.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in any field.
    • Minimum of 1 year working experience.
    • Proficient in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing). The candidate must be able to communicate with the China-based team via phone and WeChat in Mandarin.
    • Proficient in Malay and English (speaking, reading, and writing). The candidate must be able to communicate fluently with clients in person or remotely.
    • General experience in marketing or communication environments.
    • Experience with Content Management System (CMS) platforms is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced business environment.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    This job is for a Junior Copywriter focused on creating engaging digital content for various brands. You might like this job because you’ll get to shape brand voices and team up with creative pros in a fun, collaborative environment.

    You will be an important part of a growing Creative team that deals with end-to-end digital and content

    production and owned content for various brands in different industries, including banking, finance, fashion and

    technology. Your domain may be words, slogans and scripts, but your role will bring you deeper into the realm of

    digital, brand, MarTech and customer experience (CX).

    As our digital content copywriter, your day-to-day experiences may include creating persuasive interactions in

    the brand voice at every touchpoint. You will be tasked with crafting and updating copy for dotcom webpages,

    landing pages and campaign pages, email marketing (CRM), and other forms of consumer-facing digital marketing

    content such as web banners, articles and social assets. You will be reporting to the Creative Director/Head of

    Copy (Digital) who will oversee and clear your work before it goes out to the client.

    The digital content copywriter we are looking for should be obsessed about writing and possesses an

    unquenching desire to perfect their craft/copy almost to a fault. This person should have good knowledge of

    digital channels, basic understanding of user behaviour/design/experience (UI/UX), and is equally adept in both

    long and short-form copywriting. Being able to deftly connect strategy with language and push the boundaries

    with kickass thinking and ideation skills will be a big plus.

    Responsibilities

    • Written - writing persuasive copy that engages and drives human beings to change their perspectives or take action
    • Teamwork - work with Art Directors and Digital Designers to ensure copy and visual work seamlessly together to meet desired objectives, as well as being able to work in a collaborative environment with the wider team of Project Managers and Account Management
    • Ownership - nurture the work at every step of the way - whether it’s design, engagement, production or development, all the way into fruition
    • Conceptual - work as part of a team in crafting digital brand experiences to meet communication and marketing problems
    • Engagement - take part in conversations about creative and strategic direction with clients
    Job Requirements
    • 2–4 years of relevant experience in writing for websites, email marketing and/or blog articles
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work and behave professionally in a fast-paced team environment
    • Interest in honing leadership and management capabilities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Possesses strong interpersonal skills
    • Proactive in driving self-learning and skills improvement through training and keeping abreast of industry changes
