Job Description

A senior product owner is responsible for leading the design process, creating user-centric interfaces, and developing financial products and services that are innovative, functional, and visually appealing while meeting the needs of customers and adhering to regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding customer needs: Conduct research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and preferences. Study industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement or areas where the bank can improve.
  • Requirement gathering and product design: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and objectives. Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements.
  • Solution Design: Develop and design end-to-end customer journey that meets business requirements and customer needs. Work with technical teams to translate the requirements into technical specifications.
  • Documentation: Develop detailed design specifications that include information on features, functionality, and user journey flow and user stories.
  • Product Development and Delivery: Manage end-to-end development of the final product, ensuring that it meets the design specifications, functional requirements, regulatory requirements, and quality standard. Work closely with IT, testers, and project managers to identify dependencies and obstacles that need to be addressed and ensure the product delivery timeline is met.
  • Product Validation: Participate in reviewing and validating the product during testing phase to ensure that all positive and exceptional scenarios are covered, and test results are as expected. Act as the bridge between testers and technical team on defects clarifications and in providing expectation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Serve as point of contact for business solutions inquiries and support.
  • Monitoring and support: Monitor user feedback and behaviors through user research. Work closely with customer support and analytics team to monitor the product’s performance, identify areas for improvement and inform future iterations of the products. Work closely with the marketing team to promote the product in line with business strategy.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 8 years of professional banking experience or supporting Banking lndustry.
  • Knowledge in IT security, BNM compliance and /or PayNet is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the evolving digital landscape, technology, and paradigms.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing business solutions.
  • Self-starter, fast learner and highly adaptable to new environment and cultures.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities tasks effectively.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • User Experience Optimization
  • Collect and analyze user feedback and behavior data to identify customer needs and pain points, propose and implement experience optimization solutions.
  • Combine data analysis with user research to continuously improve the customer experience and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide data support and feedback to help the team continually refine service strategies and optimize the customer journey.
  • Project Management & Execution
  • Lead customer service center optimization projects, driving process improvements and skill group adjustments based on KPIs (e.g., call connection rate, satisfaction score) to ensure measurable results.
  • Monitor fluctuations in key metrics, analyze root causes, and propose optimization plans to ensure service quality.
  • Process & Efficiency Enhancement
  • Analyze existing processes (such as ticket handling) to identify bottlenecks and develop improvement plans.
  • Lead initiatives such as SOP standardization and cross-department collaboration mechanism building to boost efficiency and improve user experience.

  • Passionate about customer service and the cryptocurrency industry, with the ability to quickly adapt and engage in in-depth business research and practice.
  • Experience in customer experience, analytics, or similar roles within a large-scale customer service center or in the same industry.

Job Purpose

Support sales and project teams on design and specification works and collaborate as trusted partner and provider in solutions on products and services to fulfil and satisfy customers’ desired workspaces strategy to enhance the value propositions that Haworth can contribute to the client’s organisation and future workspaces. The ultimate objective is to perform all these tasks within requested timelines and accuracy in pricing and cost estimation for maximum yield in financial results and operational performances.

A glimpse of your daily mission


Bidding & Tender

  1. Work with Sales Team to understand the tender requirements/expectations to prepare tender responses

  2. Prepare design and specification works on typical product configuration and space planning and floor plan layout

  3. Once drawings are finalized, prepare proposal with bill of quantity, images of products, comprehensive product specifications with solutions on products and services, with approved margins to fulfil the technical specifications and requirements of customer’s and scope of works within the tender

  4. Communicate and collaborate with Haworth factories and 3rd party suppliers with CAD drawings of non-standard products to get pricings and lead time to quote to customer’s specifications

  5. Work closely with Shared Service Centre Visualisation teams on visualisation requests to substantiate the value propositions of the proposals created for customers

  6. Prepare data and pricing for 3rd party product data creation for order files and order entry

  7. Create Operational Maintenance Manual/ Product presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint format

  8. Maintain all drawings and files in the archive library

  9. Ensure all drawings and quotations to customers are submitted on time

Bidding & Tender (at business units)

  1. Consolidate and verify all relevant documents for relevancy, accuracy and completeness and compile for response to tender and work with Sales for submission before the deadline

  2. Support Bid & Design Manager in co-ordinating and liaising with Shared Service Centre on deliverables, timelines and act as the intermediary to provide clarification on the scope of the tender

  3. Create presentation/mood boards for mockup exercise

  4. Create presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint format for sales presentation

Life Cycle Services

  1. Work with Project/Life Cycle Service Manager on churn/reconfiguration/service works on the request of the customers to create pricing and proposals

  2. Prepare margin calculations for service works to log in the service orders by Shared Service Centre Order Services Team

  3. Prepare OBK files to order spare parts for reconfiguration services and warranty replacement services for order entry

Order placement

  1. Cross checking all order documents submitted by Sales are completed with proper approval by the management and customers before dispatching to Shared Service Centre Order Services for order entry

  2. Prepare all OBK files and Margin Calculations for the project for order entry, and ensuring the quality in pricing, discounts and specifications are correct

  3. Validate any clarification asked for by the Shared Service Centre Order Services and/or Sales

Your Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Architecture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related fields.

  • Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in preparing quotations, with proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, PCON, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Project Symbols.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with English proficiency preferred.

  • Dedicated and meticulous, with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.

  • To Comments and review tenant concept design submissions for their outlets. Providing design directions & store planning advice to tenants & their appointed designers. To Comments and review tenant concept design submissions for their outlets.
  • Performs hands-on fit-out coordination works with the tenant’s fit-out team.
  • Regular site visits to monitor and verify that all works are done in accordance with approved submissions and compliance with mall regulations.
  • Set & perform inspection with tenant and superior upon completion of each project prior to business commencements
  • Coordination between internal departments (Leasing Team, Technical Team) & external parties ( Architect, M&E consultant) to ensure all necessary landlord provisions and tenant’s requests and issues are resolved.
  • Regularly update on mall master plan, tenancy plans, and landlord provision schedule, ensure the info is accurate & up to date.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on the progress of fit-out projects, including any challenges, delays, and resolutions to mall management.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Exposure to current design trends preferably in retail or commercial designs
  • Possess creative aptitude and proficiency in design software and tools
  • Competent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu. Competence in vernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage
  • Ability to manage several design & fit-out projects simultaneously
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to work in a team

Regular site visits to monitor and verify that all works are done in accordance with approved submissions and compliance with mall regulations. Set & perform inspection with tenant and superior upon completion of each project prior to business commencements Coordination between internal departments (Leasing Team, Technical Team) & external parties ( Architect, M&E consultant) to ensure all necessary landlord provisions and tenant’s requests and issues are resolved. Regularly update on mall master plan, tenancy plans, and landlord provision schedule, ensure the info is accurate & up to date. Prepare and submit regular reports on the progress of fit-out projects, including any challenges, delays, and resolutions to mall management. REQUIREMENTS : Minimum Bachelor Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience Exposure to current design trends preferably in retail or commercial designs Possess creative aptitude and proficiency in design software and tools Competent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu. Competence in vernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage Ability to manage several design & fit-out projects simultaneously Good interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to work in a team Seniority level

Project Brief: A dedicated project team is being assembled to lead the transformation of a heritage building in downtown Kuala Lumpur into a distinctive cultural and lifestyle destination. The project aims to keep the building’s heritage alive while bringing in fresh, contemporary elements, with a strong focus on showcasing Malaysian creativity, design, and offerings.Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication Design and Brand Implementation:
    • Design a distinct visual identity for the space that blends the building’s heritage with a modern appeal
    • Has an eye for Malaysia’s multicultural heritage and respects the building’s historical legacy in all creative work
  • Content Development (Design, Editing & Production):
    • Develop creative materials for both digital and physical platforms i.e. social media materials, websites, ads, event collaterals, and simple animations, ensuring everything aligns with the brand identity
    • Produce high-quality visuals like videos, photos, and graphics and transform them into brand-aligned materials for both internal and external use
  • Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Project, Asset & Vendor Management:

    • Operate and maintain photography and video equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained and ready to use.
  • Working Arrangements:

    • Skilled at managing multiple projects and delivering quality work within tight deadlines
    • Support the team with other duties as needed, including assisting in event planning, setup, and on-ground coordination.
Key Requirements:
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in graphic design. Knowledge of motion graphics is a plus.
  • Possess strong photography, photo and video editing skills, and understanding of UI/UX design principles.
  • Skilled in using design and video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and After Effects, CapCut or equivalent.
  • Prior experience (1–2 years) creating compelling content for social media platforms is a strong plus.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin or other languages and knowledge of Malaysian History is a bonus.
