As our Data Engineer for Vector DB & MCP Hygiene, you’ll design governed schemas, build real-time pipelines, and keep the Master Customer Profile (MCP) squeaky-clean—so every query returns the right facts in milliseconds.

Model the World

Define vector-store schemas keyed to personas, asset types, and conversation stages. Design a governed feature-store API that keeps training and serving data consistent. ( tecton.ai )

Ingest & Embed

Build streaming ETL pipelines (dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Kafka) that chunk & embed historical docs, brand guidelines, and customer events into vectors. Implement delta-merge strategies so updates go live without full re-index.

Scrub & Secure

Clean, deduplicate, and normalize the Master Customer Profile using probabilistic matching and rule-based merges; document lineage for auditors. ( rtdynamic.com ) Enforce PII masking, consent flags, and API-rate limits via policy-as-code (OPA, AWS WAF).

Expose & Monitor

Publish versioned retrieval and feature APIs consumed by AI Automation & Prompt Engineers. Instrument dashboards for latency, recall, freshness, and error-budget burn-down; trigger alerts on drift.

BOM Management

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Governance & Management

• Oversee and execute daily data operations, including ingestion, formatting, mapping, and staging of incoming data from subscribers, JIM, SSM, and CCRIS.
• Develop, maintain and execute data dictionaries, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality assurance frameworks.
• Ensure all data usage aligns with the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010 and PDPA 2010.

Data Quality & Accuracy

• Monitor, improve and execute data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through automated and manual quality checks.
• Lead root cause analysis for data errors or anomalies and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate periodic data audits and cleansing initiatives.

Team & Process Management

• Supervise and guide a team of data analysts or data operations executives.
• Develop work plans, KPIs, and schedules for efficient data workflow and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and customer service teams on data-related issues or enhancements.

System Integration & Automation

• Support the integration of new data sources or partners via APIs, SFTP, or batch processing.
• Drive automation of data pipelines, ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and data integration processesto collect data from different sources, clean and format it, and store it in a usable format in a data warehouse or database
• Create reporting tools to improve operational efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation

• Generate operational and exception reports for internal use and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and maintain data traceability and audit trails.
• Prepare presentations and dashboards for management review.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities from time to time.
• Collaborate with all cross-functional teams to ensure that objectives and deliverables are achieved in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Data Management Coordinator ensures that accurate and up-to-date data is collected, consolidated, and maintained from all of the organization’s social work programs. This role works closely with program staff to standardize reporting formats, verify data accuracy, and maintain an organized, secure database, and impact measurement.

Job Requirements Key Responsibilities

Data Coordination & Collection

• Act as the central point of contact for all program data.
  
• Collect monthly data from social works programs.
  
• Ensure all program teams submit data in a consistent format and on time.
  

Data Entry & Updating

• Maintain an accurate and updated central database for all social work programs.
  
• Regularly verify and clean data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  
• Work with program staff to correct errors or fill missing information.
  

System Management

• Develop and improve data collection templates, guidelines, and processes.
  
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and confidentiality policies.
  
• Work with IT or software providers to troubleshoot and improve database tools.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Data Management, Social Sciences, or related field.
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data collection, entry, and reporting.
  
• Experience in the nonprofit or social service sector is an advantage.
  

Technical Skills

• Experience with Google Sheets or cloud-based data tools.
  
• Knowledge of basic data analysis and visualization.
  

Other Skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
  
• Ability to work with multiple teams and meet deadlines.
  
• Good communication skills to explain data needs and findings.
