Job Description
- Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, education, and production usage. Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases.
- The DBA works closely with system administration staff. Plans and implements backup and recovery of the MSSQL database.
- Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes, and menu changes through the development life cycle.
- Implements and enforces security for all of the MSSQL Databases.
- Performs database re-organisations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database.
- Puts standards in place to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security, and performance.
- The DBA will perform reviews on the design and code frequently to ensure the site standards are being adhered to.
- Evaluates releases of MSSQL and its tools, and third-party products to ensure that the site is running the products that are most appropriate.
- Planning is also performed by the DBA, along with the application developers and system administrators, to ensure that any new product usage or release upgrade takes place with minimal impact.
- Provides technical support to application development teams. This is usually in the form of a help desk.
- Enforces and maintains database constraints to ensure integrity of the database. Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages, and procedures.
- Troubleshoots problems regarding the databases, applications, and development tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT or related studies.
- Experience with other database tools such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics.
DBA should have sound communication skills with management, development teams, vendors, systems administrators, and other related service providers.

BOM Management
- Create, modify and maintain accurate and consistent multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the company's upon data received from engineering.
- Reviews BOMs to ensure they are complete and accurate prior to releasing them.
- In coordination with the Engineering and other team members to identify data required and inform of missing data needed to complete any projects.
- Work closely with key business stakeholders including Engineering, to ensure that BOM lists are constantly maintained and evolve in line with recent modifications or changes.
- Work with engineering to ensure correct BOMs are being used real time following product changes.
- Compiling material list for MRP import.
- Maintain reports and data to ensure information is up to date.
- Performs other related duties as required and or as assigned.
Document & Process
- To generate and prepare all types of reports required by the management and other users of inventory reports.
- To generate and publish weekly and monthly KPI Reports to the management.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering

Data Governance & Management
- Oversee and execute daily data operations, including ingestion, formatting, mapping, and staging of incoming data from subscribers, JIM, SSM, and CCRIS.
- Develop, maintain and execute data dictionaries, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality assurance frameworks.
- Ensure all data usage aligns with the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010 and PDPA 2010.
Data Quality & Accuracy
- Monitor, improve and execute data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through automated and manual quality checks.
- Lead root cause analysis for data errors or anomalies and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate periodic data audits and cleansing initiatives.
Team & Process Management
- Supervise and guide a team of data analysts or data operations executives.
- Develop work plans, KPIs, and schedules for efficient data workflow and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with IT, compliance, and customer service teams on data-related issues or enhancements.
System Integration & Automation
- Support the integration of new data sources or partners via APIs, SFTP, or batch processing.
- Drive automation of data pipelines, ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and data integration processesto collect data from different sources, clean and format it, and store it in a usable format in a data warehouse or database
- Create reporting tools to improve operational efficiency.
Reporting & Documentation
- Generate operational and exception reports for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory reports and maintain data traceability and audit trails.
- Prepare presentations and dashboards for management review.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities from time to time.
- Collaborate with all cross-functional teams to ensure that objectives and deliverables are achieved in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
