**The Team: Transcripts APAC Coverage (Mandarin)**
**Transcripts** - Team is responsible for creating publication-quality transcripts of conference calls conducted by the corporates. The team uses intelligent speech recognition software along with other state-of-the-art editing tools to deliver transcripts in real-time with the highest standard of quality. Being a part of the team means getting immersed to something that is huge, exciting, and significant and to play a relevant role to revolutionize how transcripts are produced and delivered to clients.
At Transcripts, we produce written records of dictated or recorded speech of various investor events including Earnings calls, M&A calls, Investor Conferences, Company Conference Presentations.
**Responsibilities and Impact:**
+ Primarily responsible for collection of country-specific (China - Mandarin) financial reports and conversion of the document to English transcription document with the highest degree of quality output and timeliness goals
+ Complete the translation and conversion of native Mandarin documents to English utilizing the end-to-end transcription process.
+ Be able to independently handle projects/workflows or any other task at hand delivering high quality and within deadlines.
+ Fixing of data errors when needed and defining country specific policies together with members of the Quality Control team.
+ Deep dive into data analysis of each allocated project and drive discussions to closure with stakeholders on workflow/procedure improvement through findings
+ Deliver on predefined individual and team targets.
+ Identify new projects, lean/automation ideas, new policy proposals and enhancements as part of daily work.
+ Actively communicate and collaborate with other stakeholders within the Transcripts vertical
+ Provides input and ideas for improving quality and product enhancements related to the covered content sets.

**Primary Job Function**
Primary liaison between the businesses as it relates to the create/read/update/delete of master data throughout the enterprise. Works directly with the customers to support and resolve challenges related to the mastering of critical business data. Applies relevant principles to support projects and ongoing activities. **Core Job Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
+ With general guidance / coordination from the master data managers, perform various master data Create/Read/Update/Deleteresponsibilities. Perform mandatory validations such as OCR Denied Party Screening, address verification and compliance verification. Responsible for communicating Master Data creates/changes to internal and external customers.
+ Requires high degree of communicative ability due to multi-divisional and multi-functional issues. Required to participate in process improvement teams.Provide data analysis to verify/validate data and drill down to identify root causes.
+ Understand the implications of master data as it relates to SAP and other business systems based on requirements. Leads, mentors and/or provides guidance to less experienced team members, where applicable, including guidance for troubleshooting escalated issues. Gather/document business requirements for Master Data initiatives.
+ Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of key goals and operational processes with stakeholders to aid in process development and data analysis.
+ Applies and executes standard strategic business theories, concepts and techniques and assists in the development of master data standards and procedures.
+ Manages projects according to milestones and within budget constraints.
**Position Accountability / Scope**
+ Establishes and maintains productive relationships with all levels throughout the organization and with external partners.
+ Works with minimal management direction.
+ Assists in monitoring technical and business support staff as it relates to projects.
+ Responsible for compliance with applicable Departmental, Corporate, and Divisional Policies and Procedures. Must adhere to divisional business rules and processes set forth in Master Data SOP's and SLA's.
+ Participates in business-critical Master Data initiatives. This includes advising on master data creates / changes when requested by divisional areas. Also, may participate in cross-functional process improvement teams. May be required to participate in division specific projects, testing, enhancements, or data verification.
+ Failure to achieve results may result in business process delays and/or a duplicate effort caused by these errors. Errors could cause financial / business impacts to Abbott.
+ Effectively utilize Abbott systems to maintain the integrity of master data. This includes all aspects of the Create/Read/Update/Delete process. Systems include AES, ECC, cApps, and various ancillary systems.
+ Independently develops general approaches to the solution of problems which require application of basic project management principles and problem-solving skills. Work is reviewed to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved.
+ Determines and develops approach and solutions to problem.
+ Medium/high complexity work.
**Minimum Education**
+ B.A./B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology or Finance preferred.
**Minimum Experience / Training Required**
+ Minimum 4-6 years' experience with Master Data Management exposure is preferred.
+ SAP experience along advanced SQL, MS Access and Excel skills are strongly preferred.

The Team: Translations department is part of the Documents Insights and Services domain within the Market Intelligence division at S&P Global. The team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely translated content to internal financial and non-financial data collection teams within the division. It also supports translation requirements for other divisions as well as Corporate, Technology, Legal and News groups within the company.
The Impact: As a translator/linguist, you are responsible for producing quality translation in the target language. You will also be responsible for relevant and market specific research; data collection and analysis of the financial industry and other-related activities in the covered region through key processes established. Additionally, you will also maintain the most up-to-date market knowledge document through collaboration with relevant stakeholders and participate in projects to ensure the data integrity. This is reflected directly on the product that our clients use and support the company's strategy in making S&P products available in target regions and industries.

+ Convert (translate/localize) high-level documents in the source language to the target language (Mandarin to English and vice-versa) by relaying the style and tone of the original language.

+ Primary Research entails establishing and maintaining positive professional relationships with financial professionals in the covered market to maintain and enhance our unique data; and
+ Secondary Research calls for the maintenance and the development of relevant sources through regular monitoring of their relevancy.
+ Ensure that queries from both internal and external clients are addressed accurately, comprehensively, and timely.
+ Provide quality assurance of translated and localized materials.
+ Create and maintain language glossaries, dictionaries, and translation memories utilized for translation, and draft language-specific style guides based on project requirements.
+ Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
+ Stay abreast of updated translation and research guidelines and policies.
+ Daily reporting of work performed during the day in the reporting tools; including fix errors as per quality feedback within specified time and report back after completion.
+ Participate in developing and executing projects as assigned from time to time as per company requirements.
+ Participate in testing new tools and application that would enhance individual and team productivity and efficiency.
+ Ideate and execute Process Improvement and Automation projects. and
+ Escalate concerns on time and with correct line of communication and appropriate response to mails from co-workers & management Team.

Basic Qualifications
