Job Summary
Participate and support all aspects of Data Governance initiative or related daily operational tasks are assigned, within agreed and committed service level agreements.
Job Responsibilities
- You will support our data governance team in implementing and maintaining data quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- You will also assist in data cataloguing, data lineage, data stewardship, and data issue resolution.
- You will work closely with data owners, data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to ensure that our data assets are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
- You will participate in Master Data Maintenance tools change management process as business analyst, and internal QA to perform internal testing. This includes to develop or maintain the UAT test plan, training materials and user guides.
- You will participate in Master Data Quality checking of new Merget & Acquisition data set collected, perform checking and ensure the data quality is at acceptable level.
Functional skills and knowledge
- A current student or recent graduate in data science, data management, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- A strong interest and passion for data quality and data governance.
- A basic understanding of data concepts, such as data models, data types, data sources, data flows, etc.
- A good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- A good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and independently
- A willingness to learn new skills and technologies, and to take on new challenges.

- Periodic engagement with global SMEs to align Network Data Policy (NDP) requirements, ensuring relevant information is cascaded to Data Committee members for information or further action.
- Connect with other territories and global SMEs to understand data governance best practices for adoption locally.
- Support Chief Data Officer on key initiatives, issues tracking and improvement plans including preparing relevant presentation materials.

- Certification in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DCAM) or data privacy (e.g., CIPP/A) is preferred.

- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM).
- Proficiency in data management principles, including data quality, metadata, stewardship, and classification.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g. PDPA, GDPR etc).
- Knowledge of data privacy, ethical AI, and information security controls.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including risk, legal, digital, IT security and business units.

- Understanding of data governance tools (e.g. Microsoft Purview), data lineage, data anonymization, data transformation tools preferred.
