As a Data Product Manager at TROOPERS, you will lead the development of data-driven solutions that empower smarter decision-making, operational efficiency, and product innovation across our gig workforce platform. You will work cross-functionally with business, engineering, and design teams to build impactful data products—including dashboards, reporting systems, and internal tools—anchored in measurable business value. Your mission: ensure data becomes a strategic asset across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Data Product Strategy: Define and own the vision and roadmap for data products, aligning with business objectives and enabling cross-functional teams to act on data insights.
- Requirements & Execution: Translate business goals into clear data models, data requirements, success metrics, and user stories. Work closely with engineering to deliver high-quality dashboards, analytics tools, and data models. Respond to data requests from stakeholders.
- Insight Delivery & UAT: Lead the UAT process to ensure data accuracy, usability, and relevance. Support teams in interpreting data outputs and integrating them into decision-making workflows.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with internal users—such as recruiters, client managers, and operations leads—to validate pain points, identify data needs, and continuously evolve product functionality.
- 3–5 years of experience in product management, with at least 1–2 years focused on data platforms, business intelligence tools, or analytics products.
- Strong analytical mindset and working knowledge of SQL, data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Metabase), and basic data modeling concepts.
- Proven experience defining product specs, launching dashboards, and tracking product usage against business KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across tech, business, and operations teams.
- Experience in the HR tech, gig economy, or B2B SaaS domain.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR) and security best practices.
- Exposure to tools like dbt, Looker, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Past involvement in regional or multi-country product deployments.

- Define KPIs, A/B experiments and quantitative evaluations (cost per transaction, time to resolution, accuracy, escalation rate, NPS, false positive/negative rates) and deliver measurable improvements.

Must have qualifications:
- 5+ years product management with 2+ years delivering AI/ML products or automation solutions (enterprise or fintech preferred).

- Strong technical fluency: API integrations, LLMs, agent frameworks (or comparable experience), observability, model evaluation etc.

Product launches: you will support with the data monitoring of beta versions and experiment definition for new products and features, working closely with PMs to communicate results and define next steps.
Post product launches: you will help with monitoring and sharing of the performance of past product launches, and suggest potential improvements.
You will perform occasional deep dive data analysis to identify potential root causes for specific types of user problems, and help with identifying growth opportunities.
You will own and maintain the Product analytics library (dashboards, frontend data events library) and product analytics related framework utilized by the departments
Event naming would be pre-vetted / revised by the Product Analyst and BI team would do final checks
DBT work (including on product related topics) will continue to be handled by BI, but open to proposals for new DBT models by the Product Analyst
You will drive product insights sessions with the different squads to help the teams evaluate current implementations and brainstorm potential iterations.
