WRB Data & Analytic supports Data and Business Intelligence, Finance and Risk projects globally in data delivery via data warehouse solutions. The team comprises data specialists, technology experts, and project managers who collaborate with business stakeholders for end-to-end solution implementation.
SCB seeks to hire talented data professionals with relevant experience who will be able to work in a global environment from an internal and external talent pool.
To support the WRB Data Technology team in its objectives through a mix of:
- Aligning project timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Providing support for Data Analysis, Mapping, and Profiling.
- Performing data requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Mapping data attributes from different source systems to target data models, ensuring the same business rules are followed.
- Interpreting use case requirements and designing target data models/data marts.
- Profiling data attributes to assess data quality, referential integrity, and providing remediation recommendations.
- Ensuring data use complies with data architecture principles, including golden sources and standard reference data.
- Data modeling for better data integration within the data warehouse platform.
Project delivery includes:
- Working independently to engage consultants, business analysts, and escalate issues timely.
- Providing subject matter expertise and recommendations to balance time-critical vs. long-term sustainability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with squad members for successful project delivery, managing stakeholders, and ensuring milestones are met.
- Analyzing user requirements, profiling data, and finalizing requirements.
- Transforming data requirements into data models following standards.
- Creating data mapping templates.
- Profiling data to assess quality and suitability.
- Supporting data store development activities with guidance on mappings.
- Providing solution direction from a standard architecture perspective.
- Participating in decision-making discussions with stakeholders.
- Performing SIT and supporting UAT.
- Managing change requests during project delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with data quality management frameworks.

About the Role:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed university.

Job Description
The day-to-day activities (Duties and Responsibilities):
- Grow, mentor and lead the H3’s AI, data science and data engineering team.
- Ensuring that team members are clear about expected standards of performance,motivated and developed to provide effective and efficient services.
- Building on H3’s AI roadmap, lead the development of the H3’s AI and data science vision, strategy and capability plan.
- Continue to develop H3’s AI data microservices and infrastructure, and integrate the latest data models and data pipelines, establishing a model management approach that is best in class for responsible data use.
- Provide expertise in statistics and probability, and the evaluation of data use, algorithm and models for internal development
Work experience/Skills required:
- Possessing a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Higher education qualifications in computer vision, machine-learning, statistics and/or technology also preferred –computer science, software engineering etc.
- Significant (5 years +) experience in AI, data science and computer vision.
- Significant experience of recruiting, establishing and managing a data science / AI team
- Significant experience of developing a data strategy and data governance approach
- Significant experience of designing, developing, deploying and managing algorithms, models, and model management approaches.
- Significant experience of delivering machine learning and data analysis projects. Generating data insights
- Industry-specific knowledge; Facilities Management/Built Environment/Civil Engineering is a huge bonus
