  • Ensure a proper and proactive Quality Management System (QMS) for GDC in alignment with GDC Integrated Management System (IMS) Guidelines and certifications.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities**

  • Act as the primary contact for customers throughout the lifecycle of KPP/DRUPS projects.
  • Lead and coordinate planning, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure proactive and agile quality management by independently driving the maintenance and continuous improvement of the GDC Quality Management System (QMS), associated tool and instructional documentation.

Ensure a proper and proactive Quality Management System (QMS) for GDC in alignment with GDC Integrated Management System (IMS) Guidelines and certifications.

Manage the GDC certification strategy and audit framework relevant to the IMS.

Perform internal audits in alignment with the Internal Control System, certification and Global requirements.

Coordinate certification audits defined by the certification strategy.

Manage and further develop a central data base for deviations and improvements identified during audits and ensure root cause identification and on-time completion of related actions.

Actively manage Quality Management as an Integrated Management System and ensure alignment with GRC team and other departments responsible for mgt. systems.

Drive standardization of the QMS within GDC.

Support strategic Quality Management projects identified by GRC leadership and proactively monitor new developments in business processes and certification standards.

Support the Senior Team Lead Quality Management and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements

Successfully completed university degree (Graduate/Master/Diploma) or comparable professional experience.

Strong understanding of Management Systems and respective certifications.

Relevant multi-year professional experience in the field of Quality Management.

Fluent in English. Multilingual skills are an advantage

As an Operations Technician, you'll install, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain hardware (like servers and its components) and server software (like Google's Linux cluster). You'll also take on the configuration of more complex components such as networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches and networking protocols. You'll participate in or lead small project teams on larger installations and develop project contingency plans. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate across teams to manage construction activities at facilities to support service vendors, and ensure safety, security, and compliance. Help identify needs and coordinate the allocation of resources for space expansion and modification design.
  • Compile and analyze data to create and configure scripts and tools for data center-related tracking and reporting, in line with project objectives, with some guidance.
  • Provide mentorship to deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across teams.
  • Report issues and follow data center procedures to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment or infrastructure as they arise, and identify the resources needed to resolve issues.
  • Own the repair, fix, and performance of preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, or infrastructure based on identified issues with limited precedent.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware.
  • Experience with networking protocols.
  • Experience with performing component-level repairs on IT equipment.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lb (23 kg) of equipment as required and ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting.
  • Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
Preferred qualifications
  • 6 years of experience in maintenance and monitoring of server systems.
  • Experience working within a data center or network operation center environment.
  • Experience collaborating and partnering with teams.
  • Experience in team and project management and leadership.
