Responsibilities:
- Perform MIS and business analytics support for Emerging Business (EMB) by working with other business and support units.
- Generate performance tracking with assessment insights and prepare forecasts for management reporting.
- Perform reporting and operational planning functions for business tracking and management overview.
- Coordinate within various data sources to prepare data for internal and external stakeholder requests related to EMB.
- Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years relevant working experience in business intelligence or data analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; added advantage with knowledge in data management programmes e.g. SAS, QlikView, RPA etc.
- Experience and knowledge of MIS and financials preparation is advantageous.
- Possess good communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills with high willingness for continuous development.
- Equipped with positive attitude towards work, able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as a team player with ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines.

Your Mission
- Design and develop analytics scripts based on agreed-upon functional requirements for identified client issues or review scope. Provide guidance to auditors on the types of data analytics and procedures to apply on projects.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis, using ACL or other analytics tools / programming languages, on a broad array of issues across disciplines, projects and functional areas within Group Integrity, Governance & Assurance (GIGA).
- Translate data analytics conclusions into early warning signals, and along the way, identify and recommend opportunities for cost recovery, cost avoidance, process and control improvements.
- Develop automation to facilitate continuous monitoring of controls effectiveness (CCM), based on analysis of tables and data fields, as and when necessary.
- Build and maintain data warehouse to enable data interrogation or new analytics exploration to be undertaken by non-technical auditors in a safe environment.
- Build and maintain data visualisation and control dashboards to be able to explain the analytics results of control / business issues to non-technical GCA Management in a compelling manner.
- Draft Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) and other data analytics engagement reports on a periodic basis for Senior Management to drive attention and actions.
- Develop and maintain an awareness of significant developments within data analytics universe and keep abreast on the emerging and advances in analytics practices.
- Undertake ad-hoc data analytics projects as part of investigations, special reviews or advisory engagements, as and when necessary.
- Assist in the development of Standards, Best Practices and Guidelines for data analytics in auditing, continuous monitoring and all data analytics programmed solutions.
- Ensure maintenance and retention of all analytics scripts and robust documentation of related processes, procedures and analysis work.
- Actively participate in the resolution of ACL software issues, such as licensing, application maintenance, bug/errors, and deployment of new versions.
- Explore the usage of new analytics tools in line with the advancement of analytics and digital technology.
- Develop, operate and maintain a good and solid data analytics ecosystem in the Department.
Ideal Candidate
- Relevant tertiary education (minimum bachelor’s degree), primarily in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent.
- Professional certification or technical qualification (e.g. Certified Data Scientist, CISA, CIA, CFE, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience within Data Analytics domain in a large / complex ERP environment and databases (e.g. SAP, SQL, etc.).
- At least 1 year of experience using ACL at an intermediate level, including script development, or other analytics tools / programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, IDEA or Excel.
- Experience with Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse development using SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau and PowerBI) is an added advantage.
- Exceptional business acumen, analytical and critical thinking skills with proven ability to challenge the status quo and seek innovation.
- Articulate in verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organisation skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities (not Limited To The Following)
- Data Governance & Quality: Support data validation, cleansing, and loading activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to data standards, including SFDC Territory management, user management and training.
- Analytics Support: Design, develop, and enhance regional reporting dashboards using Power BI and DAX to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with technical stakeholders to optimize dashboard performance and user experience, leveraging data sources such as Databricks and data mesh architectures.
- Technical Expertise: Work with data sources such as Databricks and data mesh; optimize dashboard design by collaborating with technical partners.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with regional and local market stakeholders and SFDC system owners to align on sustainable data practices.
- Training & Support: Assist in the creation of training materials and provide basic support for dashboard users, including troubleshooting and data extraction requests.
- Documentation: Develop and improve documentation processes for dashboards/solutions.
- Usage Monitoring: Help track dashboard usage and data quality metrics to ensure tools are meeting user needs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years in data analytics, data management, or business intelligence related roles.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI and DAX.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of data validation and reporting processes.
- Preferred: Exposure to SFDC and experience working with large datasets.

We are looking for a Data Analytics Specialist to analyse large, complex datasets, create meaningful visualizations, and deliver insights that empower business teams to make informed decisions. The specialist will also play a significant role in supporting data engineering efforts, ensuring the availability of clean and reliable data through scalable pipelines and robust architectures. Additionally, the role includes experimenting with basic data science methods, such as predictive modelling, clustering, and classification, to uncover hidden patterns and future trends. This hybrid role requires strong technical expertise, a passion for storytelling with data, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, curious, and capable of integrating analytics, engineering, and data science skills to maximize the value of the organization’s data assets.
A day in the life.
- Understand business challenges and business questions
- Data exploration to find patterns and insights to provide recommendations and instigate actions and decisions
- Build capability and ensure consistency of Insight generation methodologies to Business Analysts in category/ function
- Operationalizing or last mile enhancements to visual outputs and light statistical models leveraging global and local data assets and globally delivered products including machine learning capabilities
- Maintenance of last mile reporting applications or any local data leveraged in market/category
- Technical and business data curation of local assets in cataloguing tool
- Develop exploratory use cases and handoff with Global hub if governance decides to scale
- Delivery of analytics
- Uses relevant analytical techniques to increase and optimize customer and consumer experience, generate revenue, increase margin, eliminate operational costs and other business outcomes
- Gain efficiency by leveraging successfully industrialized analytical models that exploit Nestlé's data assets
- Supports other partners to deliver E2E business solutions (e.g. business domain experts, solution architects, data engineers, visualization experts etc.)
- Utilizes visualization techniques to clearly communicate the output of analytical processes (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive)
- Supports KPI/PPI measures discussions from analytical output
- Supports ad-hoc analytic processes and presents results in a clear manner
- Considers the cost benefit analysis between full automation and manual intervention in analytical E2E delivery
- Stakeholder engagement and analytics evangelisation
- Supports stakeholders on immediate team to identify opportunities for leveraging analytical techniques on top of data assets to drive business solutions
- Influences immediate team through presentation of analytically-based business recommendations
- Supports best practice sharing within local analytics community
- Supports data science community involvement
What will make you successful
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Engineering/ Computer Science /Mathematics/Statistics preferred)
- Experience in cloud environments (AZURE, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Experience in programming language (Python, R and etc.)
- Experience in data visualization / Business Intelligence Tools e.g., MS Power BI
- Experience developing light analytical models to solve business problems
- Experience in using machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modelling, clustering, decision trees, neutral networks, deep learning, optimization, etc
- Knowledge of advance analytics project methodologies like CRISP-DM
- Familiarity with “FMCG/ CPG” or “Retail” industry and applied analytics to scenarios in context of this domain
- Good visualization skills for creating dashboards, scorecards, reports and insights
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Possess the ability to communicate complex results and insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Open to working in a global environment and with virtual teams

Key responsibilities (not limited to the following):
Data Governance & Quality: Support data validation, cleansing, and loading activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to data standards, including SFDC Territory management, user management and training.
Analytics Support: Design, develop, and enhance regional reporting dashboards using Power BI and DAX to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with technical stakeholders to optimize dashboard performance and user experience, leveraging data sources such as Databricks and data mesh architectures.
Technical Expertise: Work with data sources such as Databricks and data mesh; optimize dashboard design by collaborating with technical partners.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with regional and local market stakeholders and SFDC system owners to align on sustainable data practices.
Training & Support: Assist in the creation of training materials and provide basic support for dashboard users, including troubleshooting and data extraction requests.
Documentation: Develop and improve documentation processes for dashboards/solutions.
Usage Monitoring: Help track dashboard usage and data quality metrics to ensure tools are meeting user needs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: 2-5 years in data analytics, data management, or business intelligence related roles.
Skills:
Proficiency in Power BI and DAX.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of data validation and reporting processes.
Preferred: Exposure to SFDC and experience working with large datasets.
