Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Overseeing ad-hoc transfer pricing.
  2. Preparation/review of transfer pricing analysis and reports.
  3. Providing transfer pricing advice and recommendations to businesses and management.
  4. Monitoring changes in Malaysian transfer pricing legislation and guidelines, assessing potential impacts, and responding effectively to tax changes.
  5. Liaising with tax agents to complete transfer pricing reports before due dates.
  6. Corporate Tax:
  7. Facilitating and managing the preparation of corporate tax computations by compiling necessary information for review and finalization.
  8. Reviewing, checking, and validating tax computations prepared by tax agents to ensure accuracy and timely filing.
  9. Preparing and submitting under/over tax provision adjustments after corporate tax return submission.
  10. Arranging submission of CP204 and CP204A (9th month) and ensuring estimated tax payable is within range to avoid penalties.
  11. Working closely with the business to establish tax-efficient processes and leverage opportunities for tax savings.
  12. Participating in tax audits, compliance audits, internal audits, and responding to audit queries, including preparing required documents for tax authorities.
  13. Supporting local reporting with monthly tax provisions, auditor requests on corporate tax status, and group reporting.
  14. Supporting and ensuring e-Invoice compliance, including participation in its ongoing implementation.
  15. Providing advisory for all withholding tax-related matters:
  16. Reviewing tax clauses and advising relevant businesses on withholding tax treatments.
  17. Reviewing and ensuring timely submission of withholding taxes to authorities to avoid penalties.
  18. Other ad-hoc activities:
  19. Providing support to other functions as required, subject to management assessment for reasonableness and appropriateness.
Working Relationship

Internal heads of division/sections, their proxies, and Group-wide Internal Auditors.

Job Specification:
  • 5-6+ years of experience in Tax or Finance Reporting.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian Tax Laws.
  • Self-starter, able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Independent worker and team player.

Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls. This is including process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

Partner with the best

You will support various tax jurisdictions for Europe Region to manage the calculation, filing, payment and reconciliation of Taxes at Global Finance Organization.

As a Global Tax Centre Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing annual tax compliances for Europe region such as the Corporate Income tax returns, CBCR and tax account reconciliation.
  • Documenting and communicating abnormal tax expenses to Operations and Management.
  • Streamlining audit management – turnaround of data in response to tax notices.
  • Coordinating information requests with internal and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely closure of tax reporting deliverables.
  • Keeping the company abreast of all legal taxation matters for a successful tax practice i.e., audits, tax updates.
  • Identifying and drive automation projects, process improvements which increase efficiency and scalability of data.
