We are looking for an application engineer who has demonstrated a track record of managing or developing application(s) and the capability to drive innovation that aligns with business goals. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in any banking functional areas such as payments, loans, treasury management, or accounting and work on business requests related to core banking domain.

Responsibilities

Understand business requirements, identify gaps against current functionalities and apply systems thinking in solution design in core banking domain.
Partner with Users, Infrastructure Team, Architects, and other Technical Leads to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards.
Prepare and maintain functional solution documents.
Review the system specifications created to ensure no missing design or lack of consideration.
Configure and/or develop based on specifications and perform unit testing to ensure specifications are met.
Support smooth rollout of enhancements, manage pre- and post-implementation activities and develop processes with operations teams.
Provide analytical support and execute requirement analysis to support system enhancement, fixes, and emergency application changes deployment.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in application development.

Strong knowledge of DB2 on AS400, including SQL queries, performance tuning, and database management.

Experience in debugging and troubleshooting applications in an AS400/Mainframe environment.

Knowledge of banking operations, specifically deposit-related functionalities, is an advantage.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work transitioned from Group (focus on L3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support and you will be expected to manage production problems and incidents.

Responsibilities Technical Delivery Manager for Silverlake Core Banking solution Plan, oversee & coordinate implementation of technical deliverables (incl. enhancements & upgrades) to meet project requirements within budget Partner with System Analysts & SMEs to understand and implement functional and technical requirements Partner with domain architects, dev. managers, security architects to ensure solution complies with enterprise design & security standards Coordinate with test managers to ensure completion of testing activities (SIT, UAT, app security testing etc) with quality results

SKILLS Must have 6-9 years of relevant working experience as Project/Delivery Manager for large scale or medium complex projects with end-to-end project scope, preferably in global organizations within the financial industry Hands-on with Silverlake Core Banking System Knowledge and experience in project management including planning, execution, monitoring, quality & cost control and risk management Profound IT knowledge preferably in financial service organizations with expertise in application development Experience of managing complex system integration or migration projects Experience of managing projects with mix of Agile and traditional iterative models
