Responsibilities:
• Implement, and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network devices
• Configure and deploy operating systems, applications, and services according to best practices
• Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and expansions
• Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel, such as clients and vendors
• Prepare pre and post-project documentation
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and escalation
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA
Education and Experience Requirement:
• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in implementing, and managing system infrastructure solutions
• Strong knowledge of operating systems & storage (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Being result-oriented with an excellent process and an SOP executor with the right attitude are important.
• Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantageous
• Minimum 2-5 years working experience in a system operation position.

What will you do?The Building Controls Engineer (or Building Control Systems Site Resident Engineer) will oversee the implementation, integration, testing, and commissioning of building management and control systems on-site. You will ensure that M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems function efficiently, meet design specifications, and integrate with the overall building automation system.
- Oversee on-site installation and integration of control systems, ensuring alignment with design specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of control systems and related infrastructure to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between contractors, design teams, and clients, facilitating effective communication and resolving technical issues related to control systems.
- Address and resolve technical challenges during installation and operation of control systems, minimizing disruption to project progress.
- Maintain detailed records of control system configurations, modifications, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to project stakeholders.
- Ensure all control system installations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols specific to Malaysia's data center operations.

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably within data center environments or similar critical infrastructure projects
