Join Sun Pharma Malaysia, a leading global pharmaceutical company. We are seeking an experienced, results‑driven Assistant Finance Manager to lead end‑to‑end finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Download and review bank statements, prepare daily bank balances
  • Manage AR collections, perform postings, and reconcile accounts
  • Handle intercompany reconciliations and confirmations
  • Review URP and inventory provisions
  • Oversee month-end closing: journal postings, reconciliations, and audit schedules
  • Review trial balance and prepare monthly financial reports with schedules
  • Check and release Singapore MIS reports with commentary
  • Analyze SBU-wise P&L in Anaplan for irregularities
  • Plan and manage monthly cash flow
  • Review field staff claims for compliance
  • Support quarterly, interim, and year-end audits
  • Maintain monthly/quarterly compliance checklists
  • Finalize quarterly tax computations and support annual tax returns
  • Assist with transfer pricing documentation
  • Handle Singapore secretarial, tax, and statutory compliance
  • Ensure vendor master and e-invoicing compliance
  • Support secretarial matters for Malaysia business

Job Requirement :-

  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience handling month‑end and quarter‑end closings independently.
  • Prior experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Manufacturing industries is highly preferred due to the regulatory and compliance-heavy environment
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regional statutory compliance (Malaysia & Singapore)
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and planning tools such as Anaplan
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA) are an added advantage

Principle Function

This department is responsible for the implementation of Quality Management System (ISO9001) and Food Safety management System(HACCP, FSSC22000). The scope of coverage includes but not limited to Process Management, System Management, Regulatory Management and Supplier Management. There are 3 sections within QA Department, which are QMS Administration Section, Operational Control Section and Food Regulatory Section.

Responsibilities And Authorities

  • To manage information for customers' requests before submitting to the QA Manager for approval.
  • To carry out research on regulatory requirements for domestic and export countries when required.
  • To maintain adequately information database on ingredients and products of AMB.
  • To keep in close contact with regulatory updates in Malaysia and other countries related to food and prepare report to update management on the impact to the organization.
  • To review and ensure the permissibility/compliance of Industrial / consumer products, package labeling and proposed labeling to Malaysia and related countries regulations.
  • To support the QA Manager in dealing with government bodies pertaining to packaging label and claims.
  • To attend external meetings related to food regulations when required and update the management on outcome of meetings and impact to the organization.
  • Ensure all relevant procedures are updated and maintained accordingly.
  • To manage internal food legal audit and prepare summary report for management.
  • To ensure all reports required by the management are updated accurately and on timely basis.
  • Ensure prompt update of information into Raw Material and Product Permissibility System (RMPPS - in house system) and its functionality.
  • Coordinate management of Customer Enquiry Management System (CEMS - in house system) software by cooperating with Industrial Business Department.
  • To adhere to safety and health requirements and participate in the departments safety, health and environment activities and ensure procedures are maintained.

Job Requirement

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics
  • Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience.
  • Preferably Executive specializing in Legal / Public / Security or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills in English,Malay language for both spoken and written

Principle Function

This department is responsible for the implementation of Quality Management System (ISO9001) and Food Safety management System(HACCP, FSSC22000). The scope of coverage includes but not limited to Process Management, System Management, Regulatory Management and Supplier Management. There are 3 sections within QA Department, which are QMS Administration Section, Operational Control Section and Food Regulatory Section.

Responsibilities And Authorities

To manage information for customers' requests before submitting to the QA Manager for approval. To carry out research on regulatory requirements for domestic and export countries when required. To maintain adequately information database on ingredients and products of AMB. To keep in close contact with regulatory updates in Malaysia and other countries related to food and prepare report to update management on the impact to the organization. To review and ensure the permissibility/compliance of Industrial / consumer products, package labeling and proposed labeling to Malaysia and related countries regulations. To support the QA Manager in dealing with government bodies pertaining to packaging label and claims. To attend external meetings related to food regulations when required and update the management on outcome of meetings and impact to the organization. Ensure all relevant procedures are updated and maintained accordingly. To manage internal food legal audit and prepare summary report for management. To ensure all reports required by the management are updated accurately and on timely basis. Ensure prompt update of information into Raw Material and Product Permissibility System (RMPPS - in house system) and its functionality. Coordinate management of Customer Enquiry Management System (CEMS - in house system) software by cooperating with Industrial Business Department. To adhere to safety and health requirements and participate in the departments safety, health and environment activities and ensure procedures are maintained.

Job Requirement

Candidate should possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience. Preferably Executive specializing in Legal / Public / Security or equivalent. Good communication skills in English,Malay language for both spoken and written 1 Executive positions available

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Human Resources Specialist, you'll provide guidance and execution support for HR programs in the GBS Mexico office. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for employees and stakeholders, driving smooth talent processes and consistently upholding Bain’s values.

Core HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Act as the go-to contact for employee benefits questions

  • Administer local office programs

  • Liaise with local medical insurance broker, directing complex queries and ensuring resolution

  • Propose and help implement improvements to benefit offerings

  • Deliver onboarding presentations and ensure a seamless start for new hires

  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure cross-functional onboarding consistency

  • Manage offboarding logistics, knowledge transfers, and feedback reporting

  • Support visa/immigration processes in collaboration with external legal counsel

Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate with the Recruiting team on open roles

  • Route requisitions appropriately for approval and recruitment

  • Monitor hiring progress and pipeline status

  • Address stakeholder and organizational concerns

  • Extend offers as needed

Compensation & Payroll

  • Support compensation activities during annual cycles and promotions

  • Partner with payroll to manage salary changes, off-cycle payments, and terminations

  • Ensure compensation practices align with both local labor law and Bain’s internal benchmarks

  • Help manage performance cycles (year-end, mid-year), including tracking and reporting evaluation completions

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Oversee offboarding conversations, documentation, and final settlements

  • Act as first contact for employee relations topics, escalating as needed

  • Partner with HR leadership on DEI and engagement efforts

  • Coordinate office-wide communications on policy changes and wellbeing programs

Learning, Development & Performance Management

  • Work with global and regional L&D to deliver training sessions

  • Monitor training compliance and follow up as needed

  • Prepare data to support career development conversations and identify growth opportunities

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources roles

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently

  • High integrity and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

  • Skilled at building trust-based relationships across all levels

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Experience with Workday and payroll systems is a plus

  • Fluency in English
