The Role
The “C&N Contract Professional” position involves providing commercial and contract guidance to the business organization and other functions, drafting and negotiating agreements that accurately specify the business relationships between Kyndryl and clients, alliances, partners, and other companies, and supporting account teams by managing contracts through post-signing contract management activities such as follow-on client negotiations, amendments, contract changes, formal communications, extensions, claims, and termination. The role requires developing working relationships with clients, effectively representing Kyndryl, representing clients within Kyndryl, concluding sound contract negotiations, and performing efficient contract management. Effective communication and negotiation with all levels within Kyndryl, clients, suppliers, partners, and their external representatives are essential. For international contracts, the role entails interfacing with teams in other countries and ensuring the agreement accurately reflects Kyndryl's capabilities in all countries within scope.
The position requires experience in contract negotiation, contract management, and leadership capabilities for face-to-face interactions with senior executives of clients' organizations, client external advisors, including outside counsel, and stakeholders within Kyndryl. This role also requires collaboration with the general Legal organization and partnering with Kyndryl transaction lawyers involved in certain contract negotiations and post-signing activities. Each C&N Contract Professional is responsible for supporting several accounts, which may span multiple countries. Priority Accounts require proactive support from the C&N Contract Professional, based on insights gathered from the Account Team to anticipate needs and provide guidance and advice as needed.
