  • Support refugee clients, and their families to understand the service scope and case life cycle including the management of, and attendance at, critical service appointments.

Previous Work Experience & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as supply chain management, humanitarian logistics, business development, or leadership.
  • Advanced use of the MS Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work flexible hours recognizing that some services may be delivered outside of regular business hours (essentially Airport related activities).
  • You will be a motivated professional, fluent in English and Malay (written and verbal) with a strong ability to form effective working relationships and to deliver high performance outcomes. Ability to speak a language/s of the refugee populations that we work with is desirable.
  • Be a strategic thinker who is solutions focused with the ability to problem solve situations at short notice.

  • Ensure best possible quality of our employee experience in Prai plant by driving operational excellence throughout hire-to-retire moments that matter.
  • Critical bridge role between managers, employees, and business stakeholders. Able to detect & proactively identify opportunities in both areas and direct continuous improvement where it matters most.
  • Drive locally relevant and effective policies and processes and ensure ongoing compliance with legal/ regulatory frameworks.
  • Responsible to liaise with relevant government bodies in relation to foreign worker management.
  • Employee Relations: coach and guide all managers to manage the ER process, support complex cases for plant employees.
  • Talent Acquisition: Responsible for end-to-end recruitment activity for all core team (shopfloor employees) inclusive of managing local and foreign worker recruitment.
  • Foster a productive and constructive relationship with the union while also protecting the interests of both the employer and employees
  • Participate and assist in all audits (SeDex, FSSC, MOH and etc) as a key auditee for all the HR related documentation and executions as required.
  • Engagement & Culture: Promote, communicate, and ensure participation in Engagement Surveys. Support execution of engagement action plan or support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communication at the plant level.

  • Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring all equipment is cared for and regularly checked.
  • Delegate duties and supervise subordinates, providing timely follow-up as needed.
  • Oversee loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Perform overtime work and any other duties assigned by management.

Here's What We're Looking For

  • Academic Program: Degree/ Diploma in logistics, supply chain or Management (or related field).
  • Experienced: At least 2 years in professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Skillset:
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, stock reporting, and basic purchasing support
  • Understanding of ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000 food safety standards is a strong advantage.
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  1. Planning and Coordination: Project engineers/coordinators are responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating engineering projects from start to finish. This includes defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
  2. Resource Management: They manage resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials required for project execution. This involves scheduling tasks, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently.
  3. Technical Expertise: Project engineers/coordinators apply their technical knowledge to oversee engineering design, construction, installation, maintenance, and operations. They may review technical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  4. Budget and Cost Control: They develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints. This includes tracking expenses, preparing cost estimates, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies is crucial. Project engineers/coordinators assess risks related to technical aspects, scheduling, budget, and safety, implementing measures to minimize these risks.
  6. Communication: Effective communication is key. Project engineers/coordinators regularly communicate with team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  7. Quality Assurance: They oversee quality control and assurance processes to ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and specifications. This involves conducting inspections, testing procedures, and resolving any quality issues that arise during the project.
  8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation is essential. Project engineers/coordinators prepare progress reports, documentation of project milestones, technical reports, and other required documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
