This job is for an Event & Communication Specialist who organizes exciting events and writes engaging marketing content. You might like this job because it blends creativity with logistics, letting you connect with people while crafting impactful messages!
Responsibilities- Manage AUG’s events, education exhibitions, seminars, networking functions, etc., to meet different objectives.
- Develop a yearly event calendar, meet deadlines and targets, and ensure all events are organized successfully.
- Manage event budgets and develop and implement advertising & promotion activities.
- Liaise with business partners, vendors, and suppliers for sponsorships or services.
- Handle event registration, attendance, post-event data management, and data analysis.
- Coordinate with teams (branch offices & marketing team) for pre-event planning, communication, logistics, staff movement, hiring of event crew, and post-event debrief.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to improve future events.
- Perform other event-related duties as required.
- Develop, conceptualize, and write creative and effective advertising copy.
- Create content for online and social media marketing projects.
- Translate copy and relevant content as needed.
- Proofread all marketing materials before publication or printing.
- Ensure all print and online advertisements meet advertising standards.
- Graduates in Marketing, Communication Arts, or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent written English skills, with strong spelling and grammar.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is a plus for stakeholder communication.

The Marketing Communications Specialist - APAC is responsible for developing and executing regional marketing and communication strategies aligned with business objectives for the Business Unit Service, managing the creation of marketing materials, oversee customer engagement initiatives, and ensure effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will create and implement go-to-market marketing, communication, and promotional strategies to enhance awareness and positioning of products and solutions, develop and oversee the HUB marketing and communication plan to meet regional business objectives, ensuring alignment with business unit and company strategies and conduct analysis of competitors' marketing initiatives and benchmark them against market standards to identify strategic opportunities for marketing efforts.
- You will plan, implement, and support marketing and communication initiatives, including customer engagement programs and sales enablement efforts, collaborate closely with teams across the organization, including HUB marketing and sales, application engineering, regional product managers, and global marketing teams and manage and execute HUB marketing campaigns and customer engagement activities, including the planning and evaluation of regional events.
- You will proactively gather customer feedback, success stories, and application cases to develop external marketing content such as articles, white papers, and communication stories, track and analyze the return on marketing investment (ROMI) for HUB marketing activities and evaluate the performance of promotional campaigns.
- You will oversee external communications activities, including support with press releases, social media initiatives, events, blogs and the development of marketing collateral.
- You will drive internal communication activities, including town halls, organizational announcements, newsletters, and employee engagement initiatives, support HUBs in obtaining effective marketing materials to present to customers and provide support for their customer engagement initiatives.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- You hold a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing or marketing management.

- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance evaluation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Strong commitment to understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional value and service.

Job Description:
The PR Executive will play a key role in securing positive media coverage and building engagement with mainstream media as well as influencers/KOLs for Resorts World Genting (RWG) products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective PR strategies aimed at enhancing brand equity and achieving business objectives in all targeted markets.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to plan media coverage, align activity calendars, and address any arising issues.
- Write clear, compelling, and professionally crafted English press releases and speeches that align with the company’s messaging and objectives.
- Prepare various communication materials including media briefings, Q&As, social media content, and other materials aligned with business goals.
- Organize, coordinate, and execute PR events and campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with print, broadcast, online, and social media, as well as with influencers/KOLs.
- Prepare communication materials and manage media-related matters during crises.
- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Preferrable with 1 year of relevant working experience in Media or Public Relations. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to write professional English press releases and speeches tailored for diverse audiences and media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead proactive storytelling, media pitches and policy comms campaigns to secure positive media placements focusing on foodpanda Malaysia’s mission.
- Manage crisis communication and develop response plans for potential issues.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify compelling stories and align communications metrics with business goals.
- Oversee and manage agencies to ensure alignment with business goals. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, adjusting as needed.
- At least 6-8 years of demonstrated experience in leading PR and communications work, engaging a wide range of external stakeholders.
- A strong network of journalists focused on lifestyle and business space, with a keen understanding of various media channels and news cycles with proven success in achieving coverage across different media segments.
- Ability to exercise strong judgement, possess good problem-solving and crisis management. skills, and ability to collaborate with functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience providing counsel to and collaborating closely with senior management and business functions to achieve the effective implementation of PR campaigns, driving brand awareness and reputation management.
- Agency experience is a plus.
- A concise and clear communicator with written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Public Relations Manager to join our team in Malaysia, overseeing a key reputation management function. Well-versed in stakeholder engagement and understanding of the media and regulatory landscape, this individual will play a crucial role in building brand love by unearthing engaging, unexpected stories from the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop foodpanda Malaysia’s public relations strategy and uphold positive brand reputation across all stakeholder groups. Build relationships with key tier 1 media (broadcast, tech, lifestyle and trade) to ensure a consistent narrative is being communicated externally. Lead proactive storytelling, media pitches and policy comms campaigns to secure positive media placements focusing on foodpanda Malaysia’s mission. Manage crisis communication and develop response plans for potential issues. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify compelling stories and align communications metrics with business goals. Oversee and manage agencies to ensure alignment with business goals. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies, adjusting as needed.
Qualifications
At least 6-8 years of demonstrated experience in leading PR and communications work, engaging a wide range of external stakeholders. A strong network of journalists focused on lifestyle and business space, with a keen understanding of various media channels and news cycles with proven success in achieving coverage across different media segments. Ability to exercise strong judgement, possess good problem-solving and crisis management. skills, and ability to collaborate with functional teams in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated experience providing counsel to and collaborating closely with senior management and business functions to achieve the effective implementation of PR campaigns, driving brand awareness and reputation management. Agency experience is a plus. A concise and clear communicator with written and oral communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Job Summary
The Assistant PR Manager will play a key role in developing, coordinating, and executing the company’s public relations strategies. This role requires strong writing skills, media relationship management, and the ability to respond effectively during crisis situations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple communication projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Writing
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media statements, and official announcements.
- Write speeches, talking points, and key messages for senior management.
- Ensure all written materials align with the company’s brand voice, tone, and strategic objectives.
2. Media Relations & Event Management
- Coordinate media events, press conferences, interviews, and product launches.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare media reports for management.
3. Crisis Communication
- Support in planning and executing crisis communication strategies.
- Prepare holding statements, Q&A documents, and response plans during sensitive situations.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders during crises.
4. PR Campaigns & Coordination
- Assist in the planning and execution of PR campaigns that enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Collaborate with marketing and the respective business units to ensure message consistency.
5. Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and evaluate PR campaign performance and media coverage.
- Provide regular reports with analysis and recommendations for improvement.
6. VIP & Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of official visits by ministers, dignitaries, and VIP guests.
- Ensure adherence to protocol and seamless experience for VIP delegations.
- Provide on-site support and briefing materials for senior management during VIP engagements.
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Customer Feedback Centre.
- Monitor guest feedback mailbox, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of issues.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PR, corporate communications, or media.
- Proven experience in press release writing, speech writing, and media handling.
- Excellent English writing and verbal communication, creativity, and attention to detail. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong media relations skills with an existing network of media contacts preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure, especially in crisis situations.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
