We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Consulting Engineer – SAP Technical Consulting who is passionate about developing complex solutions for our strategic customers using the NextLabs Data-centric security for SAP product line. You will help define solution strategy, drive design and technical implementation, and architect innovative solutions. You will work on diverse projects from gathering customer requirements to implementing the solution, providing Information Security and Compliance solution for Global 2000 companies.

This position requires excellent client services and technical skills; expertise with architecture, design, and implementation of information security software, identity and access management system, or enterprise software, and documentation experience.

Responsibilities
  • Working closely with customers to design solutions involving information security and compliance needs on SAP
  • Provide in-depth technical knowledge and development expertise during pilot, proof of concept stage, or enterprise-wide deployment
  • Leading the integration effort and owning the system and data integration architecture for SAP
  • Install and configure NextLabs software at client premises
  • Research and implement new functionality of NextLabs SAP Data Security Product Suite for customer implementations
  • Design specifications for new custom solutions based on customer requirements
  • Develop, configure and implement the solution as per NextLabs standards to meet customer requirements
  • Develop unit test plans and create test cases based on customer landscapes

Requirements
  • BS Degree in computer science or engineering or higher
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Have a good understanding of SAP best practices
  • Must be hands-on with RICEFW development and ABAP New syntax as needed to support project timelines and objectives
  • Must have solid experience in ABAP development with good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, FI and SD
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model
  • Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA is a huge plus
  • Experience with Java based development is a plus
  • Must be an expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies
  • Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications is a plus
  • Experience with Data Masking, Data Anonymization techniques is a huge plus

What a Consulting Director does at Visa:

We are looking for an individual to join us as a Consulting Director in the VCA team based in Malaysia. This individual will act as the overall program head to deliver end-to-end consulting engagements for our key issuing, acquiring, merchant & fintech clients. Typically, the individual will closely interact & work with the client team gathering and managing project inputs, analyzing data to form conclusions and recommendations, developing and presenting compelling project reports and working with clients on executing recommendations.

The program will include initiatives that cover payment strategy review and roadmap design, portfolio and product-market fit assessment, customer value proposition design/refresh, people/talent enablement, digital payments wallet assessment and launch, mobile banking app diagnostics and enhancement, and other growth initiatives. It will also cover improving customer engagement on client portfolios powered by Visa’s data, collaborating closely with the data science teams on building data-driven solutions (e.g. AI model deployment).

The Consulting Director will be responsible for identifying potential clients’ business pain-points and areas for strategy and process improvement, thereby defining project scope deliverables and revenue opportunity to sell-in client engagement projects and building new practice solutions.

  • Contribute to the development of VCA’s consulting offerings and engagement delivery in Malaysia to help Visa clients protect and grow payments

The Professional Services Consulting area is responsible for providing fee-for-service consulting services to clients by providing a complete project solution to achieve measurable business improvement using company products and services, defining opportunity/process around outsourced solutions, systems integration or other proprietary tools.

What you’ll be doing

- Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions including architectural system design

- Facilitate customer discussions to discover key business and technical requirements, and develop implementation plans based on the identified requirements

- Provide experienced guidance, feedback, and recommendations to customers based on established best practices

- Support the roll-out, adoption, and scaling of provided solutions for customers

- Handle customer engagements as a project manager, responsible for scheduling, coordination, communication, and enhancing the customer relationship

What you’ll bring to the table

Job Responsibilities:
  • Electrical & ELV System Design: Design Electrical and ELV services, including Earthing, Lightning Protection, and Security Systems, in compliance with UBBL and relevant standards.
  • Project Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical works, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
  • Authority Liaison: Coordinate with statutory authorities for approvals and regulatory compliance.
  • Project Coordination & Meetings: Attend coordination meetings (e.g., CCM, TCM). Collaborate with architects, civil & structural consultants, and stakeholders for proper integration of electrical systems.
  • Tender Administration: Handle tender processes, including documentation, design drawings, technical reports, and interviews.
  • Construction Phase Support: Prepare/review drawings, check shop drawings, attend site meetings, resolve issues, witness testing & commissioning, and coordinate inspections.
  • Progress Claims & Final Account: Verify contractor claims and ensure project handover is defect-free.
