- 4-6 years of experience in litigation practices
- Provide legal advice and strategies to clients on corporate, - commercial, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Handle complex cases, including litigation, arbitration, or dispute resolution, from initiation to resolution.
- Represent clients in courts, tribunals, or during negotiations as required.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on case laws, regulations, and statutes.
- Analyze legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate potential issues.
- Ensure that clients comply with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards.
- Assist in company secretarial matters, including board resolutions and filings.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates, paralegals, and interns.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure high-quality work output.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing personalized solutions.
- Assist in business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to client retention.
- Legally qualified and called to the Malaysian Bar. Post admission experience is preferred but not essential.
- Familiar with Malaysian Court practices and procedures, Rules of - Court 2012 and standard litigation concepts and procedures.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of legal experience in corporate law, litigation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
- Committed and driven with a strong sense of accountability.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Team player, honest, and good in working attitude.
- Well mannered, hardworking and responsible.
