Job Description
**The Position**
Coordinates and manages compliance activities for the assigned affiliate in the assigned division. Evaluates existing and evolving healthcare and privacy compliance, ethics and related legislation and regulations and other marketplace/industry dynamics to determine requirements for Roche policies and procedures. Assess the employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner, against the Company's Policies, Procedures and External regulatory requirements.
Manages and completes internal and external reporting regarding the affiliate's healthcare, privacy, ethics and related compliance. Responds to inquiries and provides guidance and advice on compliance and resources to support business operations, team and individual adherence. Where observed, escalates actual or potential compliance violations or other issues to relevant colleagues or management, according to local, regional and/or global policies and procedures.
**Role** **Responsibilities:**
**Operational**
+ Responsible for assessing compliance of employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner, against the Company's Policies, Procedures and External regulatory requirements.
+ Clearly documents all compliance assessment (i.e. assessment results) activities in concur during claim processing
+ Escalates issues and recommend resolution plans in a timely manner to the RSS Line Manager and Affiliate (where required)
+ Support the preparation of reports and training material on a periodic basis to address updates to the compliance monitoring process (e.g. review manuals, return reason coding etc.)
+ In collaboration with Reporting Line Manager make appropriate recommendation to HOD for process improvement and be part of the solution provision activities
**Qualifications and Experience**
+ University degree or equivalent experience or above (prefer business, law or finance related major)
+ More than 2 years' experience in compliance reviews or its equivalent and its implementation in a highly regulated environment or in audit firms
+ Strong analytical skills, be able to assess the facts with professional skepticism
+ Strong communications skills, Fluent in both written and spoken English and Japanese as this role will required to support Roche Japan counterpart
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently

**Your role and responsibilities**
As Risk & Compliance Analyst, you'll be a trusted business advisor. KYC Analysts will be responsible for documentation reviews for new customer accounts. evaluate high-risk accounts and analyze new customer processes and policies. Additionally, these Analysts will study market trends and observe customer behavior patterns.
· Identify comprehensive target set of compliance data for users across teams
· Monitor and evaluate compliance data and information collected in support of activities and initiatives
· Support the harmonization of KPIs/KRIs currently used across businesses/regions to build one set of metrics
· Consolidate data from businesses and testing teams to build monthly reporting package
· Review reports to identify trends and key risk areas
· Preparation of presentations and trends identified for reporting to senior management
· Identifying additional metrics to be included in reporting packages
· Act as a back up supervisor in the absence of the team leader/ supervisor
**Required technical and professional expertise**
· Minimum 4 years of experience in Anti-money laundering, KYC, CIP, Enhance Due Diligence, Customer Due Diligence, Internal/External Due Diligence
· New Client Onboarding, New Account Documentation, Business Formation Documentation, Legal Entity Structures, Ability to follow cash flows
· Maintain a current understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry standard methodology, criminal typologies and developing trends
· Proven analytical skills required to organize and analyse multiple, complex data sets as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills
· Validated database skills, including working with advanced data sets, pivot tables, advanced database and statistical functions and methods
· Working knowledge of marketplace AML issues and AML suspicious activity transaction monitoring systems, data mining/analytical tools, and KYC automated solutions is helpful
· Should evolve as a Subject matter expert in Risk Rating, Screening, CDD
· Experience in financial services transactional data analysis
· Lean/Six sigma trained or certified.
· Diploma in Anti Money Laundering or related field will be distinct advantage.
· Certification in a professional association such as the Association of Certified Anti-money Laundering Specialists (CAMS) would be a distinct advantage.
· Ability to apply expertise and technology in data analyses
· Ambitious individual who can work under less supervision towards agreed targets/goals.
· Proven change management and be open to it good time management and work under tight deadlines
· Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

**The Team:** You will be a junior member of the Compliance team who, along with another colleague, will be responsible for the administration of OSTTRA's employee compliance records.
