MKS PAMP is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic
Community & Social Media Manager
to lead and grow our online presence while fostering meaningful engagement with our community. This role is a blend of creativity, analytics, and strategic execution, aimed at strengthening our company’s connection with its audience and driving measurable outcomes through organic and paid strategies. The ideal candidate is a native English speaker with experience managing online communities, crafting compelling content, and running paid social campaigns. A background or interest in the precious metals industry is highly desirable.
Main Activities And Responsibilities
Social Media Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others. Manage and moderate comments, messages, and feedback across all platforms, ensuring prompt and professional responses. Cultivate and engage with our existing communities to enhance loyalty and advocacy. Content Creation: Develop and execute engaging, brand-aligned content strategies, including posts, videos, and stories. Collaborate with internal teams to highlight products, services and industry insights. Stay ahead of trends and propose innovative content ideas to drive engagement and growth. Paid Social Media Campaigns: Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns to achieve business goals, such as brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Analyze campaign performance, provide detailed reports, and recommend strategies for improvement. Influencer Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers who align with our brand values and audience. Collaborate with influencers to create impactful content and campaigns that amplify brand reach. Monitor influencer performance metrics and provide insights to improve partnership outcomes. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize analytics tools to monitor performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, reach, impressions, and paid campaign results). Provide actionable recommendations based on data to optimize organic and paid strategies. Report on audience behavior, campaign performance, and key insights to inform future strategies. Community Engagement: Foster relationships with online followers, addressing website inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and empathetically. Handle various comments with composure, tact, and a solutions-focused approach. Act as the voice of the brand, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging across all channels. Collaboration with Customers & Partners: Work closely with customers and partners to co-develop social media campaigns and initiatives that enhance brand awareness, sales, and community engagement. Monitor partners’ social media activities and ensure brand values are maintained and constantly represented.
Support partners by providing corporate marketing materials and other resources to help them successfully run digital campaigns.
Required Education And Experience
5 years of proven experience in managing social media accounts, online communities, and paid social media campaigns. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Qualifications And Skills
Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Suite). Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Creative mindset with a practical approach to managing and engaging audiences. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite) and analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Facebook Ads Manager). Familiarity with digital advertising strategies, audience segmentation, and budget optimization. Experience or a strong interest in the precious metals industry is highly preferred. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. A proactive, problem-solving attitude and excellent interpersonal skills. Native English speaker with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

About the role:
This is a contract role for a Social Media Manager, based on-site in Kuala Lumpur with flexibility for hybrid work. You’ll be responsible for managing content calendars, driving influencer and UGC collaborations, liaising with clients, and ensuring every post, story, and campaign reflects both strategy and creativity.
What you'll be doing:
- Content Calendar Planning — Plan, schedule, and manage monthly content calendars across multiple brands.
- Content ideation — Develop engaging content ideas that fit brand strategy and resonate with target audiences.
- Influencer & UGC management — Source, negotiate, brief, and manage influencers and content creators to deliver high-quality UGC that drives results.
- Client liaison — Act as the main point of contact for certain clients, managing updates, feedback, and approvals.
- Platform management — Publish content, track performance, and optimise for growth across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.
- Reporting & insights — Analyse performance metrics, highlight wins, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaboration — Work closely with designers, copywriters, and performance marketers to execute campaigns seamlessly.
What we're looking for:
- 2–4 years experience in social media management (agency experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook best practices.
- Hands-on experience managing influencers and UGC creators.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to balance creative ideas with data-driven thinking.
- Organised, proactive, and not afraid to take ownership.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media plans based on the communication strategy provided by the Marketing Manager. You have a deep understanding of Malaysia’s social media landscape, staying up to date with the latest trends, conversational topics, and cultural moments. Quick to spot and apply relevant trends, you will ensure our content remains fresh, timely, and highly engaging. You will also coordinate content production with creative teams (for visual design) and content creators (for social channels), driving brand awareness and growing CARSOME’s social media presence. Monitoring performance and making data-driven adjustments will be essential to your role as well.
Your Day-to-Day
- Strategy Development: Create and implement full social media strategies aligned with
marketing objectives and overall business goals. - Hands-on Content Creation & Editing: Actively participate in content creation, including
video shooting, photography, and editing, to ensure that content is dynamic, engaging,
and on-trend. Be ready to step in for content editing across platforms as needed,
ensuring timely and high-quality output. - Content Coordination & Execution: Oversee content production across all platforms
(Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube), working closely with creative teams
for visuals and content creators for platform-specific content. - Community Engagement: Manage online communities by responding to comments,
fostering conversations, and ensuring the brand tone is consistently reflected. - Campaign Implementation: Lead the execution of digital campaigns from start to finish,
aligning them with the marketing calendar and ensuring timely delivery. - Performance Analysis & Reporting: Track key social media metrics, providing insights
and data-driven recommendations for optimizing performance and audience
engagement. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with creative, performance, and PR teams to
ensure all content and messaging remain consistent and aligned with the broader
marketing strategy. - Trend Monitoring & Platform Optimization: Stay current with social media trends, tools,
and platform updates, adapting strategies to maximize reach and engagement. Be quick
to spot relevant trends and incorporate them into content. - Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and guide your social media team, including senior
executives, content creators, and live commerce hosts, to ensure smooth coordination
and execution.
Your Know-How
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in social media marketing, with proven success in managing
brand presence across multiple platforms. - Strong knowledge of social media tools and platforms, with practical experience in
creating and editing social media content (video editing, photo editing, graphic design). - Hands-on experience with content creation, including shooting and editing videos and
photos, for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. - Proficiency in editing software such as Canva, CapCut, or other tools relevant to social
media content production. - Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities and executing
successful campaigns. - Experience with campaign management and handling paid social media budgets.
- Strong analytical skills to track performance and make data-driven decisions.

The opportunity
As a Community Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of your Regus centre. You’ll motivate your team to create a great working environment to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
A typical day at Regus
You start the day with an informal team talk over coffee, to plan the day and make sure everyone’s prepared.
With one eye always on reception, you see members turning up and also the first meeting rooms guests arriving. You welcome them and take them to their meeting room, show them the facilities and help them set up their WiFi connections and AV system for their presentation.
Later you have a meeting to learn more about a new member and get to understand his business needs. You think about the other businesses in the centre and how you might be able to introduce him to a couple that may be of interest at the networking event later in the week.
A large company is taking a whole floor of the centre and is moving in next week. You run through the move in detail with the reception team, ensuring the welcome kit is prepared, and all badges and keys are ready for handing over.
At lunchtime a couple walk in enquiring about coworking membership. Your colleague from sales is on their lunch break so you offer them a coffee and give them a tour of the centre, explaining all the benefits of Regus membership.
Later in the afternoon you host a monthly operations meeting for Community Sales Managers from your local cluster of centres, along with the regional Operations Manager. After the meeting you do a final walk around the building, speaking with members, asking how their day went as they start to wind down and head for home.
About you
We’re looking for someone who has the experience and aptitude to manage a smooth-running operation. You’ll need to be an accomplished multitasker, able to pre-empt issues before they become problems, and keep a team motivated and focused on service excellence. You also need to be:
- A good communicator, used to dealing with customers
- Happy taking ownership of problems and finding ways to solve them
