Job Requirements:

and on-trend. Be ready to step in for content editing across platforms as needed,
ensuring timely and high-quality output. - Content Coordination & Execution: Oversee content production across all platforms

for visuals and content creators for platform-specific content. - Community Engagement: Manage online communities by responding to comments,

We're looking for a creative and driven social media manager to join the Lumi News team! Work closely with our senior social media manager on content execution, championing growth, and fine-tuning strategy.
- Social media content management and growth: Break the news, inform millions of Malaysians, and make a difference with your content! Create engaging reels and publish informative posts on Malaysia's hottest topics including news, politics, entertainment, tech, and lifestyle on Lumi's social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and more.
- Copywriting and proofreading: get involved in copywriting efforts in English and BM (plus Mandarin if you can!) for app translations, push notifications, press releases, marketing efforts, and more.
- Execution of content-driven initiatives: craft client content, conduct interviews, attend events, experiment with different formats, get involved in marketing campaigns, push breaking news notifications, assist in content management on the Lumi News app, and participate in all other content efforts that lead to Lumi's growth!
- Stay up to date with trends, innovative content formats, best practices, and the evolution of our audience's interests.
- Collaborate with other teams to work towards shared goals.

- Visual creature: Must be proficient with Capcut and Canva. It's easy for you to edit reels and posts quickly! You should be detailed and great at visualising information.

You work well with people and you take edits and feedback well. You're ready to post whenever there's breaking news, including after-office hours and weekends.
