- Communication strategies:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with OCBC Malaysia’s business goals, ambition and brand values.
- Collaborate with marketing, digital, and business teams to integrate communication initiatives across channels.
- Media relations
- Lead media relations efforts, including press releases, media briefings, and media interviews.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both traditional and new media professionals to ensure positive and accurate coverage of the organization’s news and initiatives.
- Proactively pitch stories, respond to media inquiries, and provide timely, relevant information to support effective communication and enhance the Bank’s public image.
- Crisis management
- Manage crisis communications and provide timely, clear, and effective responses to reputational issues.
- CEO’s communications
- Support CEO’s communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across all platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of developing and executing communications strategies
- Strong understanding of the media landscape and have developed strong relationship with the media industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an advantage.

We are seeking a driven and dedicated Marketing & Communications Executive with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. Working closely alongside the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a vital role in connecting individual changemakers and corporate partners with our cause, driving social impact and collective action.
Essential Job Functions
Job functions may include and are not limited to:
Social Media:
- Monitor daily social media activities across various platforms (mainly Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok) to foster community engagement and growth for EPIC Homes & PARC
- Liaise, coordinate, and ideate with the internal team and external agencies on content calendar planning, content development, feedback, execution, and reporting
Content Ideation and Creation:
- Brainstorm (independently and with team members) to develop compelling content to highlight our programs and the stories of those we serve
- Write and edit inspiring copy for social media, internal community communications, and website updates that engage our audience and encourage meaningful action
- From time to time, create static photo or video con
- tent for both online and offline marketing collaterals (occasionally, this may require on-ground presence at events)
Graphic Design:
- Work closely with the graphic designer, giving clear feedback and instruction to ensure design briefs are executed to a high standard
- Use Canva to create impactful graphics, infographics, and promotional materials that visually represent our mission and initiatives.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications to strengthen our organisational identity
Community Engagement:
- Build and nurture relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers to strengthen our collective impact.
- Engage with followers across social media platforms, responding to inquiries and fostering a sense of community.
- Bachelor’s degree in or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role (experience in the non-profit or social impact field is a plus)
- A deep passion for social impact, community empowerment, and advocacy
- Excellent command in written and verbal English
- The ability to draft thoughtful, compelling copy that engages and moves audiences to take meaningful action
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation
- An eye for design, with experience using Canva or similar design tools

As part of the organization's growth trajectory, the team is looking to identify a Director, Marketing Communications, the role will play a crucial part in overseeing content creation, marketing and public relations within the organization. The role will be responsible to develop a comprehensive strategic marketing communications plan to increase awareness of the firm's portfolio of products and services. The expertise in content creation, customer segmentation, marketing effectiveness, and public relations will be instrumental in establishing the organization's brand identity and reputational capital as the firm champion's its growth journey.
The Challenges
- Strategic Marketing Communications : Develop and implement a strategic marketing communications plan that align with the organization's goals and objectives, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels
- Content Creation : Oversee the creation of compelling content, including website copy, blog posts, social media content, thought leadership whitepapers and other collateral to drive engagement and increase brand visibility.
- Customer Segmentation : Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify key customer segments, their needs and preferences. Utilize this information to develop targeted marketing campaigns and personalized communication strategies.
- Marketing Effectiveness : Define key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Analyze data and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies, improve customer acquisition, retention and conversion rates.
- PR Strategy : Craft a future-proof PR strategy to enhance the organization's brand reputation and maintain positive relationships with media, industry influencers and other relevant stakeholders.
- Brand Management & Media Relations : Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all communication channels. Develop brand guidelines and monitor adherence to maintain a strong and recognizable brand presence. Manage media relations activities, including press releases, media interviews and monitoring. Cultivate relationships with relevant journalists and media houses to secure positive media coverage and enhance brand visibility.
- Professional Experience : Extensive experience in marketing communications and public relations, preferably within technology and the fintech space.
- Strategic Vision : Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic marketing communications plans that align with business objectives and drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Content Creation : Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content across various platforms and formats.
- Customer-Centric Mindset : Deep understanding of customer segmentation, customer journey mapping and the ability to develop personalized marketing strategies to effectively target and engage specific customer segments.
- Public Relations Expertise : Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful PR strategies, crisis communications and media activities.

Job Description
- To lease out the mall promotional or exhibition spaces, ad panels and push carts or kiosks for revenues.
- To provide conceptualization and design support for all mall wide events / promo / activities A&P collateral.
- To create and produce artwork for press advertisements, shopping guides, brochures, signages, banners, posters, mall directories, flyers, etc.
- To coordinate in uploading the approved contents, photos and relevant information to the mall's Website, Facebook and Social Media Applications. Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary.
- To handle visual presentation and set-up as per approved concept, design or theme.
- To assist in dismantling and removing of the visual displays, stage at the end of allotted time or events.
- To provide photography and video for all mall wide events / promo / activities.
- To plan, execute and coordinate a variety of marketing, promotion and thematic events to enhance the shopper traffic in the specific month( s ) as assigned by the superior.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Advertising / Media / Art Design / Creative Multimedia, Mass Communications or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 year( s ) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Strong creativity and conceptualising skills.

The Role
- Supports the Marketing Communications Manager in planning of marketing activities as well as create/organize promotion activities to promote the resort’s products, service, facilities and promotions.
- Supports in the implementation and review of graphic standard in guest collaterals, sales collaterals and advertising execution to ensure that each items is in line with the PARKROYAL graphic standard and is validated by the Corporate Office.
- Provide support to the sales department by developing the resort sales tools including presentation file, corporate gift, multimedia tool etc. and ensuring the most appropriate communication of the resort, the product and the brand.
- Assist to develop and implement the collateral and promotional materials of the resort’s F&B outlets as well as actively promote the resort’s outlets into the market.
- Assist to manage e-Newsletter, Poster, Flyer, banner as well as update TV screens in guest rooms and LCD screen in the resort public areas.
- Support in partnership and joint promotions with credit cards companies, magazines, airlines, websites, mobile networks and business association.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with business associates, sponsors and guests.
- Supports the Marketing Communications Manager in conducting marketing survey for all F&B outlets throughout the year as planned and compile the report with marketing suggestion.
- Supports in analysis and evaluation of promotion and advertising as well as the marketing performance.
- Supports in maintaining the resort’s database including gathering more new potential, maintain the exiting as well as develop the database and the resort’s email marketing.
- Any other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
- Degree or Diploma in Public Relation, Mass Communication or relevant discipline
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years relevant experience in a similar capacity of an international brand
- Possess a quality to establish strong social connections
- Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel
