Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Supplier Management
· Identify and develop qualified suppliers locally and globally for raw materials, finished components, and services.
· Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, service, compliance, and sustainability.
· Establish long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
· Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews.
Cost & Contract Management
· Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or timelines.
· Manage contracts and supplier agreements, ensuring legal and compliance requirements are met.
· Benchmark material costs to ensure competitiveness.
Procurement Strategy & Planning
· Work with engineering, production, and project teams to forecast material needs.
· Develop and maintain a sourcing strategy that aligns with business goals and project pipelines.
· Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes to support project efficiency and cost control.
Risk & Supply Chain Management
· Monitor global material trends, price fluctuations, and geopolitical risks affecting the supply chain.
· Develop alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate risk of supply disruption.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and sustainability standards.
Reporting & Systems
· Maintain and update supplier database and sourcing documentation.
· Provide regular reports on procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance.
· Work with ERP and procurement systems for purchasing and inventory tracking.
Office Hours: Monday - Friday
9.00am to 5.00pm

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role will be the lead for Direct and Indirect Procurement in Asia Pacific markets and focus on building strategy, delivering smart spend management, enabling innovation and building quality partnerships, both internally and externally.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- To lead the team to drive cost optimization, productivity saving and lead the process of sourcing execution to ensure delivery of the category strategy and targets against requisite timeframes
- Apply global policies, standards and platforms including the agreed strategic sourcing process to deliver robust terms and conditions that manages Procurement’s service delivery and commercial risk
- Ensuring and execute sustainability policy and corporate social responsibility program while dealing with third party management (where applicable)
- Be responsible for the execution of category strategies and development of sourcing plans at end market level
- To review and update sourcing plans on a periodic basis in alignment with the release of new updated category strategies
- Pro-actively share knowledge, best practices amongst the members of the Procurement community and identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Build strong internal and external business relationships to ensure the delivery of the category strategy
- Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) within the region, global, where required, and input into supplier business reviews
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in: Economy, Business, Supply Chain or similar
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Procurement or other related experience with a minimum of 2 years leading category/team
- High level of commercial awareness and strong in project Management
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal & communication skills
- A focus on service delivery and savings along with the ability to drive innovation and change
- An advanced knowledge of procurement processes, methods, and techniques, including advanced negotiation& influencing skills
- Ability to perform in complex cross-functional, global, business environment and handle multiple tasks successfully
- Detailed knowledge of supply market, supplier capabilities, competitor activity, and expected trends at a geographic

About The Role

- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality raw materials, packaging components, and essential equipment to support uninterrupted production schedules and minimize downtime.

- Establish and maintain robust supplier performance management frameworks, conducting regular reviews and fostering strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and mutual growth.
- Ensure strict compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations, including adherence to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and quality standards relevant to the packaging industry.
- Collaborate closely with Research & Development (R&D), Production, Sales, and Finance teams for accurate material forecasting, proactive demand planning, and seamless integration into new product development initiatives.
- Oversee comprehensive procurement documentation, conduct in-depth data analysis, and prepare insightful reports to inform strategic decision-making and ensure transparency across all procurement activities.
- Proactively identify and resolve supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or delivery challenges with suppliers, implementing corrective actions swiftly to minimize any adverse impact on production.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, guiding them through complex tender processes, thorough quotation analysis, and effective negotiation strategies to enhance their capabilities and performance.
The Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for leading and developing a dedicated team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Purpose Statement: Responsible for identifying materials suitable for corporate contracts within assigned commodity scope. Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Project Tender Sourcing - ITO Phase (Primary Focus)
Lead sourcing inputs during tender development in collaboration with Tender Manager (TM), Tender Engineering Manager (TEM), and Commercial teams.
Define the Tender Sourcing Strategy (TSS) aligned with commodity strategies, client requirements, and commercial/legal constraints.
Establish and maintain the Tender Supplier List (TSL); prioritize suppliers from low-cost countries (Taiwan, Korea, India, China).
Manage RFQ process, analyse supplier quotations, and ensure cost inputs are robust and timely for tender submission.
Evaluate supplier risks (pricing volatility, lead time, delivery capacity) and propose mitigation plans.
Drive regional supplier development, including capability mapping and engagement with engineering for NPI support.
Define EPP (Engineering Procurement Plan) with all details on suppliers, schedules, Engg, Quality and Buyers and Fulfilments as pass it on to OTR teams for execution
Ensure a seamless handover of sourcing documentation and supplier selections to execution teams at project award (D2).
Track and report sourcing KPIs for competitiveness, localization, and vendor diversity.
Project Procurement Execution - OTR Phase - (As Required)
Support project sourcing plan development, including Procurement Concept and Engineering & Procurement Plan.
Coordinate PO issuance, supplier monitoring, documentation, logistics, and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely delivery of BOP equipment aligned with project milestones and contractual obligations.
Support Buyer(s) in resolving technical/commercial clarifications, supplier claims, and invoice processing.
Participate in regular project progress meetings, cost reviews, and risk mitigation plans.
Ensure project sourcing complies with quality, EHS, contractual, and financial standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business; MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing within a technical project or industrial environment (Power, Oil & Gas preferred).
Experience in tender/bid costing, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration.
Knowledge of low-cost country sourcing dynamics and supplier markets in Asia.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
