+ Implement a rigorous and disciplined process for managing the supply base including leading periodic business reviews, monitoring and managing supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery, technology, service, and leadership), managing supplier relationships, performing root cause analysis and resolution, developing and monitoring supplier improvement plans, and collaborating with engineering to align technology roadmaps
+ Implement Corporate & Divisional initiatives to meet desired business goals/objectives. Maintains and improves operational quality, cost control and distribution efficiency
+ Monitor and drive improvements in supplier performance metrics. Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including driving improvements in supplier performance and helping to resolve issues regarding service quality, delivery performance and cost
+ Participates in regional strategic planning efforts and cross-functional leadership teams; Manages regional relationships.
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
+ 5+ years related experience including people management experience.
+ Must have proficiency in English. Any other South East Asian regional language will be added bonus.
+ Strong forecasting, negotiations, and contract management skills, including a working understanding of contractual terms and conditions and risk mitigation
+ Working knowledge of lean six-sigma methodologies
+ Understanding of the legalities of ethical purchasing behaviors and the ability to work with Legal on assuring those aspects

As a Supply Chain Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for leading multiple programs, to coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information across suppliers, operations/manufacturing, distributors and customers. You will carry out strategic supply chain analysis to identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
**You will:**
-Identify, define and implement efficiency opportunities for new and existing products
-Manage activities globally to prevent material shortages and react quickly to material shortages; minimize excess and obsolete material
-Represent procurement on product development teams to ensure "design to value" analysis is done throughout product lifecycle and help manage/reduce supply chain complexity
- Guide regional demand teams to plan pre-production and production materials and worldwide / regional procurement to ensure risk mitigation plan is in place
- Assist management in the development of key initiatives to improve business processes and customer service delivery

**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Analyst are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
**Job Description**
Implement purchase order, manage supply chain and optimize purchasing channel & methods with the objective of ensuring cost-effective, on-time delivery and good service to internal customer and external customer within the TE Penang purchasing policies and procedures
**Order management**
(i) Based on customer orders, create Purchase Order;
(ii) Follow up order confirmation , on time delivery and the correct shipping method;
(iii) Escalate delivery issues to supervisor;
(III) Demand management, forecast;Material full kit on FO shortage report;
In order to provide on-time delivery to production.
**Inventory management**
(i) High value inventory consumption plan, analysis and scrap method.
(ii) EM15/20 report, cancellation or reschedule in/out;
(iii) Lead the internal supplier materials to localization;
(III) Rebalance the inventory of the affiliated plants;
In order to achieve ITO target
**Supplier Management**
(i) Review supplier performance (cost, delivery, quality) on a monthly basis;
(ii) Draft action plan according to suppliers' performance result;
(iii) Participate annual suppliers audit meeting;
(III)Working with sourcing team develop the supplier to set up consignment;
In order to improve supplier quality level.
**Others**
(i) Handling materials return and replacement;
(ii) Handling of vendor payment exceptions;
**Job Qualifications:**
+ Graduated with engineering or Business
+ 3 years purchasing or sourcing experience
