- Lead and manage a team of testing and commissioning agent’s engineers and technicians.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team to ensure successful project completion.
- Support the Testing & Commissioning Manager to develop and implement effective testing and commissioning strategies.
- Coordinate closely with the SE Asia Testing & Commissioning Director to align regional strategies with local execution.
Project Oversight:
- Directly manage the testing and commissioning process for all data centre projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Conduct regular site visits during construction stages to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- To be full time on site during all testing and commissioning process.
Protocol Enforcement:
- Ensure adherence of testing and commissioning protocols and compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Review and approve test plans, reports, and commissioning documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the testing and commissioning phase.
- Resolve any complex technical issues that arise, ensuring client satisfaction.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data centre testing, commissioning, and operations.
- Good knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including HVAC, power systems, and network operations.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in the testing and commissioning process.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Relevant certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or contract management (e.g., CPM, CSCP).
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.

We are seeking an experienced Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team for Data Centre projects in Malaysia. This position demands a solid foundation in electrical engineering, particularly in testing and commissioning power generation equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment and systems adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements through thorough and safe testing processes. Responsibilities will encompass managing all aspects of testing, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST). The engineer should be proficient in developing and executing test plans that align with customer needs while maintaining clear communication with the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and perform hands-on testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, and IST.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards during testing and commissioning processes.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to validate system functionality and performance according to customer specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to testing and commissioning.
- Collaborate with project teams to incorporate testing and commissioning activities into overall project plans.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including test reports, commissioning plans, and equipment manuals.
- Provide technical support on site during Genset installation and commissioning phases.
- Coordinate with the factory to ensure alignment on testing requirements and schedules.
- Participate in project meetings and effectively communicate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning power generator preferred.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical testing and commissioning (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEC).
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and capacity to analyze complex electrical systems.
- Experience in project management or coordination is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- This position may require travel to project sites or customer locations, both locally and internationally as needed.
- CIDB certified.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible in planning, developing, conducting testing & commissioning for project control system
- To design and draw electrical circuits for the local control panel for the Automated Waste Collection System, develop PLC programmed and HMI software.
- To design control system architecture and Electrical Schematic Drawings for local control panel for Automated Waste Collection System.
- Develop a Functional Design Specification (FDS), PLC program, and HMI software.
- To perform factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) and termination schedule.
- To identify any breakdown and perform troubleshooting or any technical support as necessary required
- To conduct testing & commissioning of Company’s product and system before handling over to customer
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 1 or 2 years experience in PLC programming, SCADA or HMI development and designing electrical circuit.
- Knowledge in Beckhoff PLC programming will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication and written in English.
