Your Responsibilities

Digital Media

  • Ensure client orders and materials are processed and ready for ingest, communicating any issues effectively and promptly. Assist clients with their orders and queries.
  • Ingesting material at the highest quality, maintaining high productivity and a steady flow of ingestion.
  • Manage FTP administration, transcoding, QC, reporting, digital file reviewing, and various post-production techniques.
  • Constructively liaise within the team to ensure timely ingestion and work completion within SLA.
  • Fix and create broadcast-compliant files using post-production tools for delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Production team to ensure timely ingestion, informing and charging customers for fixes as needed.
  • Maintain current clients and revenue by ensuring smooth operations, high QC standards, and excellent customer service.

Operational Efficiency

  • Maintain low error rates and ensure material availability within SLA.
  • Work efficiently using correct workflows and procedures.
  • Test end-to-end for TV or broadcast products, reporting issues according to escalation routes.
  • Prioritize ingest tasks with Traffic to meet SLAs and customer requirements.
  • Execute tasks such as FTP and nVerge administration, transcoding, QC, digital file review, and other relevant duties proficiently.
  • Ensure all information and materials are available to complete tasks to a satisfactory standard within deadlines, raising issues early.
  • Use technical tools efficiently, maintaining an organized and repeatable workflow.
  • Follow Ingest Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with Traffic and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach at all times.

Documentation

  • Issue QC reports for each order.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining checklists and SOPs.
  • File fault reports for software or hardware issues.
  • Support other departments as needed, maintaining flexibility without compromising responsibilities.
  • Participate in scheduled shift rotations and relevant assignments.
  • Achieve KPIs.

Skills & Experience Needed

  • Experience in production, broadcast engineering, video editing, or related industries.
  • Minimum of 3 years in ingest/post-production services.
  • Knowledge of broadcasting, advertising, or post-house workflows is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of digital/social formats (MP4, WebM, etc.) and broadcast file formats (MXF, MOV, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and basic understanding of Adobe Audition.
  • Knowledge of transcoders, file creation techniques, containers, codecs, and encoding techniques.

Optional Skills

Measures of Success

In 3 Months

Build relationships with brands/clients assigned; become the go-to person for client servicing issues. Understand client categories and applicable media deals, planning procedures, tools and resources. In 6 Months

Demonstrate leadership by identifying revenue growth opportunities beyond basic media planning (e.g., Content, Insights, Activation). Serve as the strategy lead for assigned brands/clients. Maintain oversight of digital executions within assigned accounts. In 12 Months

Be the key connection between internal and external functions. Foster a learning environment within the team and extended teams. Ensure deliverables, offline and online, are executed with high quality and low errors; drive revenue growth. Pitch for new accounts or support live pitches to senior management. Positively impact client referral ratings. Responsibilities Of The Role

Manage all aspects of campaigns and day-to-day needs from briefing through reporting. Drive innovative digital media strategies. Plan, buy and report for assigned accounts. Develop and build strong working relationships with internal teams. Mentor, train and build the team; manage vendor relationships. Assist leadership in creating media plans strategically and efficiently. Initiate creative and business-building ideas. Oversee plan negotiations and media team activities. Maximize the impact of every marketing dollar. Maintain status reports to ensure efficient workflow and write key meeting reports. Lead internal meetings with other departments and leverage agency resources to strengthen ideas. Build a comprehensive media knowledge base and translate it into actionable ideas. Staff supervision, training and development; model a strong work ethic and quality standards. Write and present presentations. What You Will Need

Minimum 3 years of media planning experience in media or interactive advertising agency. Proven track record in executing and developing media and digital strategies for clients. Strong leadership and strategic thinking. Detail-oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to work with teams, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under pressure. Strong negotiating skills and attention to detail. Strong relationship-building skills with clients. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency. Ability to utilize media research and reporting resources effectively. Technical proficiency with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Life at WPP Media & Benefits
