We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to operate, set up, and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing precision parts and components by reading and interpreting blueprints, programming, and executing machine operations.

1. Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) to manufacture complex parts according to specifications.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
3. Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software.
4. Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure they meet quality standards.
5. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning.
6. Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure that production goals and deadlines are met.
8. Adjust machine settings and tool paths based on feedback and quality control checks.
9. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.

1. Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong knowledge of CNC machines, tools, and equipment.
3. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
4. Experience with G-code programming and CAM software.
5. Ability to use precision measuring instruments to ensure part quality.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field is a plus.

3. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
4. Strong communication skills.

1. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and machinery.

1. Ability to read drawings & knowledge of GD&T.
2. Ability to operate inspection equipment.

1. At least 2 years of CNC experience.
2. Able to work shifts.
3. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Machine Operator (Bend – CNC Press Brake)

Role Responsibilities

1. Set-up and operate CNC machine to produce precision parts
2. Verify conformance of finished work piece to specification using precision instruments (Vernier, Micrometer)
3. Responsible for operational activities relating to bending machines
4. Liaise with Warehouse and Production to ensure smooth flow of material and component supply
5. Improve and sustain housekeeping
6. Support in training as and when required
7. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1. Demonstrate ability to work on assigned welding works and its processes/activities, ensuring minimum errors and quality work in accordance to production deadlines
2. Maintain safe workplace practices, adhering to the Company’s Health & Safety procedures at all times

Minimum Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years direct working experience operating CNC Press Brake Machine
2. Possess knowledge and understanding of engineering specified tolerances
3. Able to read and understand Mechanical Engineering Drawings (blueprints)
4. Strong understanding of machine set-up, able to effectively change machinery for multiple set-ups with the various products lines and material requirements
5. Knowledge of health and safety procedures
6. Physically fit to perform all required duties
7. Independent self-starter
8. Team player, able to work with all levels
