Your focus will include Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, secure device provisioning, and contributing to enterprise cybersecurity protecting endpoints, identities, and cloud systems. This role offers variety, modern tools, and the opportunity to build deeper expertise in IT operations and cybersecurity.
In addition to core IT responsibilities, this role also includes occasional support for local office management tasks in the Malaysia office.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide 1st and 2nd line support for WCC employees across offices and time zones, including troubleshooting laptops (Windows/macOS), mobile devices, AV equipment, and Microsoft 365 applications.
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access policies in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365.
· Handle the complete onboarding and offboarding process: account setup, access provisioning, hardware/software configuration and asset tracking.
· Provision and configure Windows and macOS devices using Microsoft Intune (MDM), Windows Autopilot, and Apple Business Manager (ABM).
· Monitor threats and respond to security incidents across Windows and macOS devices using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other tools, including vulnerability remediation, threat detection, and incident response support.

· Support cloud-based infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 services and Entra Cloud PCs for remote users.
· Perform basic network maintenance and troubleshooting (e.g., Wi-Fi, connectivity issues, network backups).
· Automate routine checks, security reporting, and tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell) or cloud dashboards.
· Support basic local office management tasks in the Malaysia office as a secondary responsibility, such as coordinating with building services, handling deliveries, managing office supplies, and assisting with local vendors or logistics when needed.
A Day at the Office
As an IT Support & Cloud Operations Engineer, your day involves a mix of support, system management, and security tasks. You’ll start by reviewing incoming tickets and resolving issues related to user devices, Microsoft 365 applications, or account access. Throughout the day, you’ll handle device provisioning using Intune, Autopilot, Apple Business Manager, and manage onboarding or offboarding activities.
You’ll spend part of your time monitoring compliance and security alerts, responding to incidents, or adjusting security baselines. Routine tasks may include maintaining device configurations, managing Entra ID access, and ensuring patching and endpoint protection are up to date. You’ll also support colleagues in different regions and time zones, often coordinating with the IT Manager to prioritize tasks or implement changes.
The role is varied, with a balance of support work, cloud administration, contributing to a secure, well managed IT environment.
Skills & Experience
