SUMMARY: Provides integrations with corporate datacenters, shared cloud infrastructure services. Works on engineering and continuous improvement of infrastructure stacks, templates, images, and other artifacts.

MAIN TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES

Functional Responsibilities:

Implementing secure network solutions that meet business requirements. Creating and configuring virtualized systems in the AWS environment. Performing infrastructure upgrades and updates to maximize system efficiency while minimizing downtime. Deploying applications in AWS using EC2 instances and Elastic Beanstalk. Creating blueprints using CloudFormation templates for common workloads. Maintaining, testing, and implementing disaster recovery procedures. Implementing automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) to manage AWS services. Building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS environment. Developing software components in Java/Python/.NET that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs. Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education / Certification

Minimum Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent Solution Architect or System Operation Administrator Skills:

Troubleshoot Cloud Infra incidents and identify the root causes. Implement preventive measures. Cloud Infra maintenance and support. Security services. Monitoring. Implementing cost-control strategies. AWS knowledge. Familiarity with Windows Server or Enterprise Linux. Strong knowledge and practical experience with AWS. Familiarity with modern cloud application architecture. Exposure to cloud managed services and microservices like Function as a Service, Containers, and managed databases. Familiarity working with large systems and migrations. Experience with setting up load balancers, cloud networks, and virtual servers. Strong oral and written communication skills. Capable of working under tight deadlines. Intercultural / International Experience:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive, design and deploy dynamically scalable, highly available and fault-tolerant on Cloud Platforms
• Managing network-related, virtualization, compute, data, or security requirements accordance with company security guidelines on Cloud Platforms
• Accountable for all patch management and products upgrade activities executed by Service Provider to ensure all systems are current
• Managing and migrating on-premises workload and applications to Cloud
• Adopting the best practices of Cloud architecture to support applications
• Orchestrating and automating Cloud-based platforms throughout the organization
• Communicate progress to management and work closely with IT teams to integrate existing structures into Cloud-based systems
• Maintaining the usage of Cloud Services and implementing operational cost control strategies
• Raises and manages Service Request and Change Request to ensure completion of requests
• Participates in the Incident and Problem Management to review and identify the root cause of system incidences and provide resolutions to minimize unplanned system downtime

Minimum Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Environment and Administration
• Minimum Degree holder with IT background
• Familiar with operating systems Administration such as Windows and Linux
• Familiar with Active Directory, SharePoint, Atlassian, Ansible, Terraform, Bitbucket, PowerShell, Power BI, etc
• Cloud Certification such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, Administering Relational Database on Microsoft Azure and Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure

As an Enterprise Technology Engineer - Genesys (Junior Engineer), you are a technology service expert providing bp with capabilities in the definition, and operation of critical IT services. The role uses knowledge of both traditional concepts and site/software reliability principles and operational support techniques.

Our Enterprise Technology Engineers run the delivery of services from internal squads or external providers to ensure business performance in line with agreed, SLOs, IT outcomes and levels of risk and resilience. You ensure operational integrity and operational compliance with appropriate regulatory and internal standards. You are familiar with DevOps based models as well as traditional outcome-based services and are skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve customer pain points, inefficiencies, and blockers to delivery velocity. You are a skilled vendor manager, able to hold suppliers account for the quality of their delivery.

This role will be supporting the Genesys Cloud service and its users as a Genesys Cloud administrator in the ASPAC region - primarily the Kuala Lumpur, Australia and New Zealand operations based in Malaysia and India.

Genesys Cloud is a cloud-based contact center platform and routing engine, handling customer interactions for bp’s Finance organization across the globe.

Scope of this role includes:

• change requests required for effective routing of customer interactions daily
• enhancements requested by operational teams in the system regularly (i.e., scheduling)
• user education
• ongoing user org projects for bigger enhancements, transitions to the platform along with the developer, solution, and process streams
• daily engagement with supported operations in Kuala Lumpur and Pune
• regular engagement with suppliers
  
  

Key accountabilities

• develop, test, implement improvements to the Genesys Cloud product.
• Collaborate extensively with wider Digital technology teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve incidents, requests, and problems.
• Assure the safe application and adoption of new and updated technologies into the environment.
• Manage process and system improvements, identifying, and implementing continuous value improvement plans for enterprise technology engineering and ensure best practice is shared across the team.
  
  

Essential experience and job requirements:

• expertise and firsthand knowledge of any Genesys technology
• understanding email architecture, telephony platform and integration into CRM platform (Salesforce).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience– subject agnostic based on experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in scaled Service Delivery Roles with experience handling software vendors or outsourced service providers alongside internal teams.
• Demonstrable Knowledge in the application of modern Service Delivery methods – from Site Reliability Engineering to traditional ITIL and understanding of Product Based delivery.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems, preferably Service Now
• Experience participating in IT led projects and cross-team projects.
• Agile experience participating in scrums.
• Broad experience contributing and collaborating to assist design, plan, implement, maintain, and document services and solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure IT operations and performance of IT systems hosted on the cloud to maintain operational effectiveness and efficiency
• Ensure new application/systems development and platform acquisitions hosted on the cloud meet the evolving needs of Singapore Operations
• Operate cloud infrastructure and workloads in compliance with Bank policies, frameworks, MAS regulations, and technology governance
• Protect and secure cloud infrastructure IT assets and workloads hosted in the cloud
• Contribute to annual budgeting related to cloud infrastructure and manage effective usage and spending within Capital and Operational expenditure limits
• Act as a key technology partner and stakeholder in the Bank’s digital transformation journey
• Lead and develop a strong, competent cloud engineering team
• Champion and foster the Bank’s PRIDE values within the technology department, promoting teamwork, innovation, discipline, resiliency, and dedication
• Ensure all cloud-hosted application deployments on Bank-managed environments are properly QA’d and meet compliance standards
• Manage test environments on the cloud to enable business enhancements and new project testing
• Promote, mentor, and support the technology department in adopting cloud best practices and modern workflows
  
  

Platform Responsibilities

• Perform system administration duties for locally hosted infrastructure components (on-premise and cloud) supporting Singapore Operations
• Maintain production infrastructure components to ensure optimal health and performance
• Analyze and recommend new infrastructure component acquisitions to meet evolving business needs
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies, MAS regulations, and IT governance for infrastructure components
• Protect and secure infrastructure IT assets
• Assist in budgeting and cost management of infrastructure components
• Provide day-to-day operational support for infrastructure components
• Participate in setting up test environments for business enhancements and new project testing
• Manage middleware and database technologies including IBM HQ, Oracle Weblogic, Redhat JBOSS, ICBA JHIT, SQL Server, and Oracle RDBMS

• Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or similar role, with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and operations
• Strong knowledge of MAS TRMG, IT security frameworks, and cloud well-architected frameworks
• Proficient in SDLC and modern deployment practices such as CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, blue/green deployments, and Git-based version control
• Experience managing cloud environments in highly regulated banking or financial institutions
• Leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a competent engineering team
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills

What You Will Be Doing

Ensure IT operations and performance of IT systems hosted on the cloud to maintain operational effectiveness and efficiency Ensure new application/systems development and platform acquisitions hosted on the cloud meet the evolving needs of Singapore Operations Operate cloud infrastructure and workloads in compliance with Bank policies, frameworks, MAS regulations, and technology governance Protect and secure cloud infrastructure IT assets and workloads hosted in the cloud Contribute to annual budgeting related to cloud infrastructure and manage effective usage and spending within Capital and Operational expenditure limits Act as a key technology partner and stakeholder in the Bank’s digital transformation journey Lead and develop a strong, competent cloud engineering team Champion and foster the Bank’s PRIDE values within the technology department, promoting teamwork, innovation, discipline, resiliency, and dedication Ensure all cloud-hosted application deployments on Bank-managed environments are properly QA’d and meet compliance standards Manage test environments on the cloud to enable business enhancements and new project testing Promote, mentor, and support the technology department in adopting cloud best practices and modern workflows

Platform Responsibilities

Perform system administration duties for locally hosted infrastructure components (on-premise and cloud) supporting Singapore Operations Maintain production infrastructure components to ensure optimal health and performance Analyze and recommend new infrastructure component acquisitions to meet evolving business needs Ensure compliance with Bank policies, MAS regulations, and IT governance for infrastructure components Protect and secure infrastructure IT assets Assist in budgeting and cost management of infrastructure components Provide day-to-day operational support for infrastructure components Participate in setting up test environments for business enhancements and new project testing Manage middleware and database technologies including IBM HQ, Oracle Weblogic, Redhat JBOSS, ICBA JHIT, SQL Server, and Oracle RDBMS

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or similar role, with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and operations Strong knowledge of MAS TRMG, IT security frameworks, and cloud well-architected frameworks Proficient in SDLC and modern deployment practices such as CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, blue/green deployments, and Git-based version control Experience managing cloud environments in highly regulated banking or financial institutions Leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a competent engineering team Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills Passionate about innovation, security, and operational excellence in cloud technologies Familiarity with middleware and database management in cloud and hybrid environments
