Responsible for managing information technology infrastructure, applications, and software within AIA, and providing technical support to internal users.

  • Provide technical expertise in the management of network facilities.
  • Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade computer hardware including servers, laptops, network switches, routers, and software.
  • Administer web system hardware and operating system server software.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to AIA's internal users of computer applications and hardware.

Position Overview

The Platform Supplier Management team leads Autodesk's platform supplier relationships to ensure a highly resilient and compliant platform for all Autodesk customers. We do this by managing 3rd party suppliers that provide foundational technology for Autodesk Platform Services. This includes cloud-native suppliers across domains such as API Management, Security, Databases, SAAS/PAAS providers, Localization, Service and staff augmentation providers.

In this role reporting to the Senior Manager, this person is responsible for managing a variety of these supplier relationships including contractual management, performance management, issue management, stakeholder management and being a key partner in risk and financial management

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support specific areas of the business and manage all their supplier accounts. Create and manage supplier management policies and procedures
  • Ensure supplier compliance with Autodesk's documented policies and procedures
  • Key stakeholder in supplier management lifecycle including sourcing, contracting, onboarding, participating in negotiations, issue management, to offboarding
  • Work with Business Owners, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Security teams on RF(x) processes, technical supplier evaluations, security assessments, and other projects as needed
  • Work with Business, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure contracts have appropriate terms and conditions, service level agreements, key performance indicators, and escalation processes
  • Responsible for contract management including compliance, oversight, and adherence to change control procedures
  • Monitor and ensure contract renewals are planned and executed well in advance of expiry
  • Monitor supplier performance, financial status, SLA/KPI monitoring
  • Drive and facilitate any disputes between business and supplier to resolution Set up regular check-ins with supplier account managers, facilitate regular conversations between the business unit/stakeholder(s) and supplier operations teams
  • Plan and conduct regular business reviews and executive meetings at a cadence agreed with the business unit/stakeholder
  • Support the business in demand planning and monitor against the plan
  • Flag overages and additional budget asks well in advance
  • Ensure all relevant supplier data is automated and available on dashboards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in management of supplier relationships critical to a cloud and platform technology business
  • Experience creating and managing a supplier risks
  • Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with executive leadership and provide updates/status reports or deliver presentations and recommendations
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, tactical and strategic planning, presentation (verbal, and written) communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents such as contracts, terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements
  • Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of the team
  • Ability to establish workflows, manage multiple projects, and meet necessary deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing cloud vendors
  • Knowledge in software / platform / SaaS industry would be ideal to have
  • Vendor management / Procurement background would be ideal to have

Position Objective:

- The overarching objective of the Manager, Cloud Services is to assist in the operational performance of Group shared Public Cloud services. The role will ensure the chosen automation platforms of Shared Services are well maintained and available to the wider environment.
- The role will be responsible for fulfilling all new demands required to deliver business objectives on demand.
- The role needs to ensure that all BU demands are considered when operating shared Public Cloud Automation Platforms and build a fully integrated support model with BUs and Group.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist in the operational governance of the multi-cloud environment (primarily Azure, with AliCloud and AWS footprint).
- Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-As-Code tooling, predominantly Terraform.
- Develop automation playbooks mainly with Ansible.
- Collaborate with team members to identify operational improvements through automation.
- Experience with code repository technologies such as BitBucket and GitHub.
- Demonstrated experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Write scripts and develop configuration templates for cloud automation.
- Periodically perform other duties to meet operational and other requirements.
- Manage and ensure compliance of Public Cloud technologies with audit standards.
- Work with Group Technical Risk to ensure security compliance.
- Support provisioning of non-standard services not covered by service provider contracts.

Communication Requirement:

- Communicate with stakeholders including BU, Risk, Audit, IT, Security, HR, vendors like Microsoft, AWS, Ali-Cloud, IBM, BT.
- Excellent command of English for communication, reporting, and presentations.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, with 2+ years in Cloud Automation Engineering.
  • Proven experience in Public Cloud implementation, migration, and support in a multi-site enterprise environment.
  • Certifications in Ansible, Terraform, Azure, AWS, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, Chef/Puppet.
  • Ability to create templates for IaC tooling.
  • Practical support experience for Enterprise Public Cloud Services and automation.
  • Regional or multinational life insurance experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in decentralized organizations influencing delivery.

Position Objective:

Ensures IT service availability and minimizes business impact of IT service outages through the effective management and governance of the network, infrastructure, and data center outsourcing arrangements.

Contributes to the improvement of user satisfaction with IT services by ensuring that the network, infrastructure, and data center outsourcing arrangements remain aligned with business needs and priorities and fit for purpose.

Ensures the realization of the outsourcing objectives of reduced risk, enhanced flexibility, enhanced transparency and cost efficiency through the effective outsourced network, infrastructure, and data center services.

Roles and Responsibilities :

-Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Contributes to the Network Strategy, Policies, Processes and Standards at the enterprise level on behalf of the Network Services function.
-Monitors and reports on the productivity and efficient allocation of functional resources.
-Participates in the evaluation and acceptance of deliverables and project outputs based on acceptance criteria, best practice, and technology standards.

Performance Management:

-Monitors delivery progress against targets, reporting as necessary and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to address exceptions and variations.
-Works with Suppliers and partner organizations to offer Network solution leadership, solution design and assurance services as needed / requested.

-Works with Business Units, Suppliers, and partner organizations to ensure Network solutions deployed across the groupare fit for purpose and implemented effectively to company'sstandards.

-Conducts analysis of demand for services and influences stakeholders to ensure that the necessary investments are made to deliver required services and participates in the scoping of service improvement initiatives.

Financial and Non-Financial Measures:

Measurement of the position will be against internal SLA/O targets.
Other responsibilities and duties will be periodically assigned to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Communication Requirement:

Communication with stakeholders including but not limited to local Business Units, Risk, Audit, IT, Corporate Security, Human Resources, and communication at all levels within key vendors including Microsoft, AWS, Ali-Cloud, and network managed service providers.
Excellent command of spoken and written English to allow communication with all levels of stakeholders.
Ability to communicate and articulate at CxO level.

Minimum Job Requirement:

-University Degree (Bachelors or Masters) or equivalent work experience
Minimum 6 years specializing in Networking.
-Hands on experience on network design including system integration.
-Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
-Experience in work with and governing suppliers performance in an outsourced environment, OR
-Life insurance experience within a regional or multinational scope will be an advantage.
-Experience within a decentralized organization, preferably within the Group unit
-Sound understanding of IT operating model design and best practices.
-Team player adept at collaborating with internal & external parties to develop ideal solution for the business.
-Strong decision maker, with transparent & timely communication & follow-up
Excellent listening, writing, speaking, presentation and facilitation skills.

Technical:

-ITIL V3/4 Foundation certification or higher
