Engineering Manager – Power Plant (Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering and project execution for gas engine power plant projects. This role combines strategic HQ responsibilities with onsite presence in Sabah during key project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multidisciplinary teams (C&S, M&E, E&I) in EPCC projects, from design and engineering through to commissioning.
• Oversee integration of control systems (DCS/PLC) and plant-wide automation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with environmental, safety, and anti-bribery regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure seamless project integration.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical and leadership growth.

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (BEM), MIEM, and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) registration.
• 13+ years of experience in power generation projects or industrial plant projects.

Skills / Qualifications

• Good command of verbal and written Bahasa Malaysia and English. Added advantage for Mandarin
• Abilities and skills: good communication, coordination and organization skills, keen problem analysis, coordination and handling skills;
