Responsibilities Design and Development:

Develop analog and mixed-signal circuits, including amplifiers, filters, oscillators, and signal processing circuits. Create and optimize circuit schematics and layouts using CAD tools. Perform simulations and analyses to verify design performance and ensure compliance with specifications.

Testing and Validation:

Develop and execute test plans to validate the performance and reliability of analog circuits. Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of analog hardware to identify and resolve issues. Collaborate with the test engineering team to design and implement test setups and procedures.

Project Management:

Participate in project planning, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including digital engineers, PCB designers, and software engineers, to ensure cohesive system integration. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Documentation and Compliance:

Generate detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Ensure all designs meet regulatory standards and industry guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in analog circuit design.

Innovation and Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and implement improvements in design methodologies and tools. Research and propose new technologies and components to enhance product performance and reliability. Drive innovation in analog circuit design to create competitive advantages for the company.

Qualifications Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Specialized coursework or certifications in analog circuit design is a plus.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in analog circuit design, development, and testing. Proven track record of successful analog hardware projects from concept to production. Experience with CAD tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics, or similar software for schematic capture and PCB layout.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of analog circuit principles, including signal integrity, noise analysis, and power management. Proficiency in simulation tools like SPICE for circuit analysis and validation. Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of regulatory standards such as CSA, CE, or similar. Familiarity with embedded systems and digital signal processing (DSP) is advantageous. Prior experience in industries such as telecommunications, automotive, or consumer electronics is beneficial. Experience with power supplies will be an added advantage.

We are looking for Hardware Design Engineer to support our client services that include but not limited to BOM, Schematic and layout of the platform for next generation of CPU/GPU/PCH which will be used for validation team to validate the CPU/PCH/GPU from different segment like Server, Client, Graphic and Device division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with multiple teams like layout, material, power delivery, signal integrity, package design, board validation, software coding and various board design teams to deliver a good quality board design or system which meets the platform and system level electrical requirement, High speed digital signal requirement, DFT and DFM requirements.
• Hands on in using and working on Allegro Design Entry HDL(ConceptHDL) and Allegro PCB Designer for schematic edit and PCB layout review respectively. And also “Speed” for the BOM management. To ensure the platform power on in the lab and debug with lab equipment like scope, LA and etc if the board has any issues.
• Good knowledge in PCB routing topology and design guidelines, Layout placement strategy and guidelines, PCB stack up technology, debug and technical knowledge of all types of interfaces (DDR, PCIe, USB and etc) and also develop good technical knowledge like Architecture, types of Memory, Power Delivery, Power interfaces, Power Management, HSIO busses and etc.
• Proficiency in hardware description languages such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
• Test automation expertise with scripting/programming language
• Familiarity with FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) and ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) design flows.
• Prior experience in logic design for high-speed interfaces, memory controllers, or digital signal processing (DSP) is a plus.

**Summary**
The Senior Lead Engineer, Electrical Design develops new electrical systems/circuits for various applications. Research system ideas and draw up plans for these systems, and capture them in schematics and system specifications. Test, simulate, validate and qualify their systems and make adjustments as needed. Provide support throughout the manufacturing of the electrical systems they have designed.
The Senior Lead Engineer, Electrical Design works in cross functional teams with other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations.

**Duties**
+ **Identify technical issues, troubleshoot and resolve them by coordinating with R&D, Manufacturing and Field teams**
+ **Participate in customer technical meetings and prepare training programs for internal subordinates.**
+ **Hardware validation of Networking, Storage, Server products against customer's infield issues, requirements and Mfg. issues during NPI or RMA**
+ **System validation including DVT (Design Validation Trial), SPIT (Signal, Power, Integrity & Timing) environmental & regulatory approval.**
+ **Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost effectiveness and benchmarking**
+ **Support Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineers on trouble shooting and resolving technical issues and root cause analysis**
+ **Work with software teams to identify root cause of system failure**
+ **Ability to install software such as Linux based Operating Systems, ONIE, BIOS, BMC, SES**
+ **Proficient in using various test and measurement equipment including but not limited to Oscilloscope, Impedance analyzer, Power meter, Signal analyzer, Spectrum**
**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies**
**Candidates should have 8+ years' experience in either Network, Storage or Server products.**
+ **Strong electrical design and debug skills required**
+ **Familiar with PCIe, NVMe, SAS, SATA, I2C, SPI, DDR buses**
+ **SDRAM timing and integrity analysis for clocks, strobes, S&H, Power bounce, temp stability**
+ **Hands-on design knowledge of latest peripheral chipsets for Gigabit Ethernet, SCSI, SATA, SAS, USB, Ethernet, & PCI cards etc.**
+ **High performance RISC / X86 CPUs and architecture including Intel, AMD, MRVL**
+ **Proficient in using various test and measurement equipment including but not limited to Oscilloscope, Impedance analyzer, Power meter, Signal analyzer, Spectrum analyzer**
+ **Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost effectiveness and benchmarking**
+ **System validation including DVT (Design Validation Trial), SPIT (Signal, Power, Integrity & Timing) environmental & regulatory approval.**
