NEXT Ventures Who We Are
NEXT Ventures is a rapidly scaling global fintech company where ambition takes shape and momentum becomes movement. Headquartered in Bangladesh with operations across Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Cyprus, we specialize in funded trading platforms, CFD brokerage, and futures trading, empowering over 220,000 daily users from 170+ countries.
Our two core divisions, FundedNext, our flagship and profitable brand, and FNmarkets, a next-generation CFD broker, are built to unlock potential and drive performance. With 500 dedicated professionals across five countries, we are managing complex financial flows, scaling global operations, and laying the groundwork for future fundraising and IPO ambitions.
Join us to help shape financial strategy in a dynamic and high-growth environment where dreamers become doers and performance defines success.
Your Role in Our Mission
As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will lead NEXT's global financial strategy, overseeing treasury management, tax optimization, entity structuring, and fundraising preparation amid our multi-jurisdictional operations. You'll address complex challenges like high-volume fund flows, debt financing strategies to minimize tax exposure (e.g., in UAE and Hong Kong entities), and risk mitigation for audits/regulatory scrutiny.
This role is pivotal for scaling our operations, ensuring fiscal health, and aligning finance with business growth in fintech. You'll collaborate with C-suite leaders and build a high-performing finance team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Strategic Financial Leadership
Drive comprehensive financial strategies that support market expansion, new product rollouts (e.g., FNmarkets), and long-term sustainability. Lead forecasting, budgeting, capital allocation, and financial modeling aligned with executive goals and growth objectives.
Global Structuring & Risk Optimization
Optimize cross-border entity structures and fund flows (e.g., Cyprus payment agents, UAE/Hong Kong entities) to maximize tax efficiency and minimize legal and operational risk. Design strategic tax planning frameworks, including management of UAE corporate tax (9%), debt financing alternatives, and treaty navigation.
Treasury & Capital Management
Oversee treasury operations including multi-currency cash flow management, diversification of banking partners beyond BAAS, and execution of $100M+ in annual transactions. Implement robust currency hedging strategies to minimize exposure and protect margins in volatile FX environments.
Investor Readiness & Long-Term Capital Strategy
Prepare the company for future venture funding rounds and a potential IPO within 5–10 years through valuation optimization, due diligence readiness, and governance improvements. Collaborate with external advisors and internal teams to ensure audit-ready financials and investor confidence.
Financial Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to IFRS/GAAP standards and evolving regulatory requirements within fintech and brokerage industries. Champion transparent financial reporting and internal control systems that meet global audit and stakeholder expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Align with legal, operations, and product teams (e.g., in Sri Lanka and Cyprus) to support compliant, risk-aware global expansion. Validate and integrate department-level operational strategies into cohesive financial plans.
Team Development & Operational Excellence
Lead the Finance, Audit, Payments, and Treasury departments with clear direction and measurable impact. Build and mentor a high-performing global finance team, cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational efficiency.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Advanced credentials such as an MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification are essential. 10–15+ years in senior finance leadership roles within fintech, brokerage, or trading platforms—preferably at high-growth, global companies (e.g., eToro, Revolut). Demonstrated success managing multi-country operations across Asia, the Middle East, and the EU. Deep experience in entity structuring, international tax planning, and high-volume treasury flows exceeding $500M. Hands-on experience with Series C+ fundraising, IPO readiness, and navigating complex financial regulatory environments in the UAE, Hong Kong, and EU jurisdictions. Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP and TMS systems, tax optimization strategies (e.g., transfer pricing, debt-equity rules), and advanced Excel analytics. Exceptional track record of building and leading distributed global finance teams. Ability to translate financial insights into strategic business decisions.
Your X-Factor
Deep familiarity with CFD, futures, or trading platforms enables you to hit the ground running in a high-speed, regulated environment. Adept at navigating evolving financial regulations, including UAE corporate tax reforms and EU payment frameworks. Thrive in startup-like, scaling environments—designing systems from the ground up while steering high-stakes strategic decisions. Confident communicator and collaborator, able to influence across C-suites, investors, and international teams.
