Job Description
- Perform basic laboratory tests according to approved test methods or procedures.
- Assist Chemists in carrying out laboratory testing, method development, and ensuring compliance with QA/QC requirements.
- Ensure good housekeeping and adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Maintain proper use and upkeep of sample preparation equipment.
- Follow group HSE safety procedures.
- Accurately record all relevant raw data and test information in the provided data sheets or logbooks.
- Comply with all local Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Report hazards, risks, near-misses, and incidents via the Crystal system.
- Meet all Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum education: SPM, STPM, or College Diploma.
- Fresh graduates in Chemistry-related studies are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for further development as Chemists.
- 1-3 years of laboratory experience is an advantage.
- Good personality and leadership qualities.
- Strong communication skills in English and/or local language.
- Computer literate.
