Job Summary :

1. Sustain all lithography processes and activities in manufacturing and under development; run as required and review the weekly process Statistical Process Control (SPC) chart and complete corrective action as defined.

2. Assists in developing and sustaining photolithography module processes; selecting and creating process recipe for under development, process improvement or process troubleshooting

3. Support the photolithography engineering area lead with hand on processing of photolithography processes trouble shooting and development activities, tool acceptance, and material selections evaluations. Publish results from DOE experiments and project activities.

4. Perform reticle job view for every new technology/process (if required)

5. Work closely with operation team members, production and maintenance, to achieve production goals.

6. Have flexibility in work load and hours, in response to the dynamic work environment of a growing start-up company.

7. Complete regular status update and reports of area activities and performance metrics

Job Requirements

1. Access Factory Works Client, SDL and SPACE application for lot disposition and improve cycle time.

2. Access tool database and data plot for recipe setup and process troubleshoot.

3. To access statistical tools such as DataPower / Klarity Defect / Wafer Sleuth / JMP for process

troubleshooting, defect improvisation, yield improvement and etest data analysis.

1. Reduce production wafer rework.

2. Access and maintain process input parameter control (APC, FDC, etc)

3. Manage and control RCS recipe release or shutdown in the tool.

The Process Engineer will be based in Bukit Minyak, Penang . The role is in charge of process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a manufacturing organization.

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
• Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Oversee new process equipment production.
• Raise and introduce engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
• Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
• Troubleshoot process related issues.
• Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
• Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
• Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
• Implement safety, productivity and improvement initiatives.
• Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
• Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and develop Process & Process Design Engineers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Lead plant performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Drive feasibility studies, process design, and project development for plant improvements and hazard elimination.
• Champion key refinery result areas such as energy efficiency, oil loss reduction, structural improvements, and technology planning.
• Coordinate capital budgeting, project appropriation, and reappraisal processes.
• Ensure safe, practical, and cost-effective engineering design, while assessing risks, design gaps, and safety-critical elements.
• Support business planning activities including 5-Year Planning and Refinery Strategic Initiatives.
• Provide leadership during turnarounds, startups, shutdowns, and catalyst regeneration.
• Mentor and coach engineers, including performance appraisals and career development planning.
• Represent the section in technical committees and ensure alignment with refinery safety and management policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is a minimum requirement.
• Preferably to have a minimum 8 - 10years of experience in Petroleum refinery plant and leadership position.
• Demonstrates initiative, strong interpersonal skills, leadership, industriousness, and effective communication proficiency.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Description Summary: Responsible for process capability, cost reduction and continuous improvement, project implementation within their designated manufacturing unit. Provides specific engineering work related to field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering disciplines expected. Support capacity planning and growth, as well as define budgeted rates and process documentation. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.
