Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with designers to ensure product designs incorporate Design for Assembly (DFA) principles for enhanced manufacturability.
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Design and develop prototype jigs and fixtures for sample builds, incorporating Poka Yoke (error-proofing) techniques to prevent defects and ensure high-quality results.

Yield & Quality Improvement

**Job Description**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Perform programming and troubleshooting of AOI inspection systems and other designed manufacturing equipment
+ Monitor machine performance and fine-tune programs to improve accuracy and productivity
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams (Equipment, QA and Operations team) to resolve issues
+ Minimize product changeover duration and process fine-tuning requirements
+ Maintain production runs at optimal yield levels
+ Undertake additional responsibilities as required by business needs
**Qualifications**
REQUIRED:
+ Diploma related Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical and Computer Technology
+ Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in an area of their specialty or related field
+ Willing to work in 12 hours rotation shift
+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
PREFERRED:
+ Hands-on experience with AOI inspection machines
+ Familiar with AOI programming and fine tuning
SKILLS:
+ Basic knowledge of electronics components and PCB assembly
+ Good communication and teamwork skills
+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality
+ Able to work on rotating shifts and perform overtime if required
