Job Description Department: Quality / Laboratory
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support our chemical analysts in daily laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will assist in sample preparation, basic testing, record-keeping, and maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in receiving, labeling, and preparing samples of raw materials and finished products.
- Support chemical analysts in routine analytical tests and documentation.
- Perform basic measurements and observations under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the lab, including cleaning glassware and equipment.
- Record data accurately in lab logbooks or digital systems.
- Monitor lab supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Comply with all lab safety rules and company policies.
- Participate in internal training sessions to improve lab skills.
Academic Qualification Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science, or related field preferred.
Other Requirements
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, etc.) for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a lab environment is an advantage but not mandatory—training will be provided.
Working Days Mondays - Saturdays
Working Hours 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Description
Responsible for delivery of Environmental Data (RoHS, CMM, Conflict Minerals) for MSI suppliers and managing PLM Agile and EG&C (Environmental Governance & Compliance)
Work with multiple suppliers to gather environmental data declarations and translate them into specifications and regulation compliance in the system.
Responsible for providing education and helpdesk support to Suppliers for Material declaration and Interpretation of W18 Specifications and Regulations.
Responsible for tracking and reporting environmental data declaration activities.
Responsible for following up with Suppliers for Quality and Responsiveness of Material
Declaration. (You may be required to work off office hours when dealing with overseas suppliers.) - If necessary, escalation will be done through BU Sourcing (CM).
Responsible for maintaining Motorola EDM databases.
Review W18 submissions before releasing them into the production database.
The audit findings must be communicated to improve and sustain the EDM Data Quality (Knowledge sharing).
Provide guidance and training to suppliers and coordinate compliance data with various functional teams within MSI.

Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or any related field.
Advanced Chemistry knowledge with a background in Chemical studies.
The capability of reading, analyzing, and understanding the chemical Hazardous Material related to ROHS compliance and specification.
Ability to work with details and develop a high level of accuracy.
Competency in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) would be an advantage.
Systematic, people orientated, and work with minimum supervision; capability to perform root cause analysis and risk prevention for false information.
Able to communicate well in English both in verbal and written.
Be able to work odd hours when required.
Similar working experience is a plus.

About the Department
The Global Business Area Industrial Weighing, a key part of the Industrial Division’s growth, generates over 600 million USD in sales worldwide with industrial weighing solutions. This fast-growing Chemical and Metal, Polymer & Electronics (MPE) segments present significant revenue opportunities to be pursued systematically.
Purpose of the job:
This Research Intelligence role focuses on the Chemical and MPE segments, providing expert recommendations to support marketing and sales on customer insights, brand and product positioning, new product development, channel growth, and delivering insights to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth analyses to understand segment requirements and pain points across the manufacturing value chain.
- Conduct interviews with internal and external experts to complement research and compile findings into reports within deadlines.
- Identify early trend-driven opportunities and risks by attending tradeshows, conferences, associations, and customer visits.
- Engage proactively with cross-functional teams and leadership to share findings, strategies, and implementation options.
- Develop expertise in industrial weighing applications and solutions.
- Build internal Marketing and Sales knowledge by creating and delivering segment salesforce guidance packages, including training, sales presentations, value-selling guides, Go-to-Customer coaching, and on-site event support.
- Utilize internal and external networks to share trends, best practices, and contribute to knowledge initiatives.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or Industrial Engineering is required; master’s degree is a plus.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Outstanding communication skills in English and Mandarin (both oral and written).
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles and cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.

For more information, please visit About the Department The Global Business Area Industrial Weighing, a key part of the Industrial Division’s growth, generates over 600 million USD in sales worldwide with industrial weighing solutions. This fast-growing Chemical and Metal, Polymer & Electronics (MPE) segments present significant revenue opportunities to be pursued systematically. Purpose of the job: This Research Intelligence role focuses on the Chemical and MPE segments, providing expert recommendations to support marketing and sales on customer insights, brand and product positioning, new product development, channel growth, and delivering insights to key stakeholders. Responsibilities: Perform in-depth analyses to understand segment requirements and pain points across the manufacturing value chain. Conduct interviews with internal and external experts to complement research and compile findings into reports within deadlines. Identify early trend-driven opportunities and risks by attending tradeshows, conferences, associations, and customer visits. Engage proactively with cross-functional teams and leadership to share findings, strategies, and implementation options. Develop expertise in industrial weighing applications and solutions. Build internal Marketing and Sales knowledge by creating and delivering segment salesforce guidance packages, including training, sales presentations, value-selling guides, Go-to-Customer coaching, and on-site event support. Utilize internal and external networks to share trends, best practices, and contribute to knowledge initiatives. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Chemistry, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 2-5 years of experience in marketing or market analysis roles within Chemical, Metal, Polymer, or Electronics manufacturing industries. Strong expertise in market research methodologies, data analysis, and strategic marketing. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Outstanding communication skills in English and Mandarin (both oral and written). Proven experience in customer-facing roles and cross-functional collaboration.
