What you’ll doOur Channel Partnerships Manager will be responsible for building and expanding Airwallex’s key partner relationships in Malaysia to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and product integrations, as well as co-marketing opportunities and community engagement. We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Channel Partnership Manager to support the team.
You will work closely with marketing teammates and other members of the commercial team to develop and implement a winning lead generation, partnership, and community-building strategy. You’ll play a key role in cultivating strong online and offline communities (including our Facebook audience, KOL engagement, and industry groups), executing impactful events, and driving our local PR and content agenda. You will be obsessive when it comes to measurement, experimentation, and creative excellence. This is a great opportunity to join our team and help shape the next phase of Airwallex’s growth in Malaysia.
This role is based in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities:Acquire relationships with strategic and community partners, such as foreign chambers, industry associations, government councils end-to-end (prospecting, meetings, contracting, onboarding, on-going management/activation; particularly within e-commerce and trading sectors).
Build allyship with key partners and industries (such as IT, eCommerce platforms, logistics partners), developing risk mitigation strategies and engaging ecosystems to bring the best of Airwallex to solve industry challenges.
Deepen relationships with key partners to strengthen executive engagement.
Strategically orchestrate and deliver regular brand-building, PR and lead-generation events, both online and offline, with community and key partners.
Drive building and management of Airwallex’s online and offline communities, including curating content, engaging with members on platforms such as Facebook, and developing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
Run and coordinate comprehensive PR campaigns, working with agencies and internal teams to amplify Airwallex’s voice and market presence.
Lead the creation and localisation of compelling case studies and marketing content tailored for the Malaysia market, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure resonance and consistency.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Airwallex, including legal, strategy, operations and finance, where required to deliver a seamless partner and community experience.
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:5+ years’ experience in partnership, marketing, community management, or business development, preferably in a B2B or tech setting.
Proven ability to acquire, build, and manage channel partnerships and community relationships, both online and offline.
Demonstrable experience managing online communities (such as Facebook Groups), KOL relations, and executing online/offline events.
Strong creative problem-solving skills, with a record of delivering impactful partnerships and community initiatives in unique and strategic ways.
Track record of running successful PR campaigns and building media relationships in Malaysia.
Proven experience writing and localising content (such as case studies and marketing collateral) for the Malaysia market.
Skilled in building rapport and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, with excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bahasa Melayu & English required).
Highly proactive and independent, able to identify and execute new partnership, event, and PR opportunities.
Results-driven approach, accountable for delivering on growth targets in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working with relevant industry associations, bodies, and senior executive stakeholders.
Strong analytical and organisational abilities, comfortable working with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
Experience in negotiation and partnership proposal development is preferred.
Experience in strategy/ops or working in tech or a fast-growing start-up would be advantageous.

We seek passionate candidates to join us as Business Development Consultants. Your main responsibilities will include expanding our customer base and driving sales growth through new business opportunities. You will develop and implement strategic plans to meet SHOPLINE’s sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow SHOPLINE’s customer base.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and clients.
- Work with the Marketing team to develop sales strategies and campaigns.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to find growth opportunities.
- Present and propose solutions to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
- Maintain effective communication with clients during the sales process.
- Provide sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay informed and network.
- At least 1 year of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Partner Management in e-Commerce, SaaS, or Internet sectors. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Success-oriented with accountability for achieving KPIs and targets.
- Strong business sense, self-motivated, results-driven.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Proficient in English; conversational Mandarin/Chinese skills are a plus.
- Experience in e-Commerce and technology industries is advantageous.
