Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cardiac Nurse to join our healthcare team in Segamat, Johor. The successful candidate will provide specialized care to patients with cardiac conditions, assist in procedures, and ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to cardiac patients based on physician instructions and hospital protocols
  • Monitor and record vital signs and cardiac rhythms
  • Assist in ECGs, stress tests, angiograms, and other cardiac procedures
  • Administer medications and manage IV drips
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac care, medications, and lifestyle changes
  • Respond to emergencies, including Code Blue and cardiac arrests
  • Work closely with cardiologists and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in relevant training and professional development

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
  • Post Basic in Cardiology is required
  • Registered Nurse with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from the Malaysian Nursing Board
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in cardiology, ICU, CCU, or medical/surgical wards
  • BLS/ACLS certification is an advantage

  • Manage inventory of consumables, pharmaceuticals, and critical supplies.

Job Requirements:

  • Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Post Basic in Cardiothoracic/Critical Care/ICU or equivalent is an advantage)
  • Registered Nurse with the Malaysian Nursing Board
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiology Unit
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong clinical knowledge in interventional cardiology procedures (e.g. angioplasty, pacemaker insertion)
  • Leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills
