Overview

The Capital Markets team supports transaction origination for IPOs, SPAC IPOs, DeSPAC transactions, reverse mergers, follow-on offerings, and post-listing public company support.
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a full-time role for the Capital Markets Analyst in our Kuala Lumpur office.
Responsibilities- Generation of new leads and potential partners.
- Cultivation of in-depth knowledge of clients’ business, keeping abreast of industry activities, market trends and leading practices, and translation of market reports.
- Preparation of project proposals, project decks, documents required in order to get engaged, and necessary translation.
- Follow-up on project progress and participation in the entire transaction process, from the LOI stage to the completion of the project.
- Participation in client meetings and support team negotiations during the engagement.
- Understanding the dynamic and ever-changing capital markets and regulatory environment in cross-border and the U.S.
- Deep participation in the transaction process and maintaining a good network of relationships with different partners.
- Excellent academic background, preferably professional qualification in financial analysis/accounting/legal valuation.
- 1-3 years of financial analysis/investment banking/accounting related experience in a well-known bank or professional company is preferred.
- Solid corporate finance knowledge and skills in valuation/pricing techniques, DCF, comparable companies/transaction multiples.
- Full proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin or Japanese is a plus.
- Good analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
- Ability to articulate ideas with confidence; natural enthusiasm for sales.
- Strong work ethic and desire to achieve a high level of success.
This is a full-time position beginning with a 6-month on-site training/probation period, after which successful candidates may be offered a permanent role.

To lead the Equity Capital Market ("ECM") unit within Investment Banking, focusing on the origination, execution and syndication of equity fund raising and equity-linked offerings. Deal Origination, Execution and Syndication
- Leading day-to-day origination, execution and syndication of ECM-related transactions (including but not limited to IPOs, primary and secondary private placements and rights issues).

The role of
Associate Director – Equity Capital Markets, SEA
