The Campaign Planning Executive is required to support the management, development and execution of all Brand Building campaigns across the top global travel retail locations with the ambition of supporting GTR's strategic role of Accelerator to a Smokeless World.
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Market/Region: Global Travel Retail
Report to : Campaign Planning Manager
Operational/Professional/Business
- Orchestrate the development of campaigns between Trade, Activation & Brands for maximum impact for key missile.
- Ensure clear line of sight objectives meeting company Focus & SLA.
- Amplify New Category "Smokeless World" vision to Duty Free industries collaborators via integrated 360 campaign with other planned Trade and Brand activities in the 'overall' cycle plan.
- Provide clear brief to agency, brand, external engagement team to guide the creative process for the implementation of campaigns of key missiles and deliver to market publication.
- Systematically monitor and understand actual market experience & trends to find opportunities.
- Study & Develop insights to drive effectiveness of various trade marketing activities as well as coming up with new ones.
- Work with relevant brand, Trade & Activation teams to ensure campaign results are measured via post evaluation and takeaways captured and actioned in future campaigns.
- Own 360 activation by leading the coordination between GTR and Domestic Markets to deliver best in - class consumer experience
- Conduct the assessment of current brand activation capability in the field.
- Assist in the execution of a plan to address identified gaps in brand activation capability.
- Become an integral part of the monthly cycle planning & briefing ensuring brand, trade & activation objectives are captured.
Management, Leadership & Relationships
- Effective stakeholders' engagement with Brand Team, Finance Team, Trade & Senior Leadership
- Drive understanding, two-way communication, and buy-in of travel retail activities & strategies with relevant internal business collaborators.
- Collaborate closely with GTR cross functional team members to optimize business performance.
- Ensure GTR governance and policies obligations are met.
- Build a solid and sustainable succession pool

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- University degree in Business, Business Information, or Marketing
- Demonstrable experience in Marketing & Trade related functions is beneficial
- Good understanding of Trade Marketing & Distribution field and office operation. Brand marketing knowledge is appreciated
- Field marketing/Sales experience is a plus
- Ability to influence at a number of levels as well as across functions & geographies
- Solid understanding of retail environment and trends
- Ability to manage multiple activities
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

- Orchestrate the development of campaigns between Trade, Activation & Brands for maximum impact.

- Collaborate with brand, Trade & Activation teams to ensure campaign results are measured, with post-evaluation learnings applied to future campaigns.
- Own 360 activation by coordinating between GTR and Domestic Markets to deliver best-in-class consumer experience.
- Assess current brand activation capability and address identified gaps in activation capability.
- Contribute to monthly cycle planning and briefing to capture objectives across brand, trade and activation.
- Engage effectively with Brand, Finance, Trade and Senior Leadership teams.
- Facilitate understanding and buy-in of travel retail activities across internal collaborators.
- Collaborate with GTR cross-functional teams to optimize business performance.
- Ensure governance and policy obligations are met.

- University degree in Business, Business Information, or Marketing.

- Ensure all campaign details are correctly logged and tracked within internal systems.
