About the Role
As a CBRE Network Infrastructure Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber and coaxial cabling in both inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) environments. You will play a key role in supporting high-performance network infrastructure through safe, high-quality work.
This job is part of the Data Center Solutions (DCS) team, which is responsible for delivering infrastructure services to ensure uptime, reliability, and performance for our clients' data center environments.
This role requires on-site work in flexible conditions, including elevated areas and confined spaces. Travel within the Johor Bahru area may be required depending on project assignments. Shift-based work may apply based on customer needs.
What You'll Do
· Understand and apply Fiber Infrastructure Management (FIM) principles while operating scanning and diagnostic equipment.
· Install and test coaxial cabling (Series 6 & Series 11) according to industry standards and safety regulations.
· Route and install OSP cables through conduits, maintenance holes, and other physical pathways.
· Place pull strings through conduits, ceilings, and walls to enable seamless cable installation.
· Install ISP cabling in overhead trays, wall cavities, and conduits, ensuring protection and code compliance.
· Identify and correctly apply various fire-stopping materials during cable installations.
· Demonstrate familiarity with SM, MM, single-strand, and ribbon fiber types and their installation requirements.
· Install network hardware components, including optical line cards, FAB modules, and power supply units.
· Terminate and route fiber cables into optical splice enclosures (OSEs) and other enclosures per design.
· Install ladder racking, seismic bracing, fiber troughs, and cable trays above and below raised floors.
What You'll Need
· 2+ years of experience in fiber and coaxial cable installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
· Certification in copper or fiber optic installation, or relevant telecommunications training, is preferred.
· Familiarity with data center environments and related standards.
· Strong understanding of industry safety protocols and confined space/elevated work procedures.
· Ability to read and interpret port maps, floor plans, and schematic cabling drawings.
· Experience with threaded rod, Unistrut, and barcoding installation is a plus.

About the Role
As a Site Manager (Structured Cabling), you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of structured cabling projects (fiber and copper) at client sites, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards, project timelines, and quality requirements. What You'll Do

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering end-to-end Fiber Optic, Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS), and CCTV infrastructure projects within scope, budget, and timelines. This role requires strong leadership in managing contractors/sub-con, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful implementation in compliance with client specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager will also oversee site activities, technical supervision, stakeholder coordination, and project reporting.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
· Develop detailed project implementation plans, schedules, and resource allocation for fiber optic, traffic systems, and CCTV projects.
· Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones in alignment with contractual requirements.
· Ensure adherence to local authority regulations, client specifications, and industry standards.
2. Project Coordination & Management
· Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including site engineers, site supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.
